Of course there isn't a news report, if Chris escaped on your watch you wouldn't notify the public, that level of embarrassment is career ending.

 

I'm picturing this alleged "Chris Chan escapes the looney bin / prison" story as looking like this.
And yes, that includes Chris being completely naked.

 

I admit, I looked on the local news webpage. I think an escaped person especially one as notorious as Chris would be newsworthy.

 

Interesting note: The reporter at the Daily Progress who WAS covering local crime including Chris's case has since quit. In her place we probably have someone who thinks 'Chan' is his actual last name.

 

How many out there think Chris is Asian because of that belief?

 

I've made jokes before about him being related to Jackie Chan. Certainly would explain how he managed to escape.

For real, though, what this situation reminds me of is the brief moment in 2020 when people thought Kim Jong-Un was dead. He wasn't, it was just inaccurate reporting.

 

The "Chan" in "Chris Chan" thing originally was supposed to be like the "Chan" in "Jackie Chan".

my friend from high school used to work for that paper. They are all aware of Chris.

 

I wonder how the ween that came up with this (or more specifically spread it across Twitter) feels right now.

Some guy fun posts on 4chan and half the internet believes Chris did a jailbreak? See at least the Farms were good for vetting info like this.

 

I think the "Chris escaped" rumor was made up because "Christory" has gone "GEE IT SURE IS BORING AROUND HERE", and Chris hasn't been derping at people lately via letters or calls.

 

It’s good timing that the Farms are possibly getting shit down only after Christory is effectively over.

 

I mean, can't they find something or someone else to talk about while they are waiting for Chris? I did that for many years when the Idea Guys sucked the fun out of Chris.

 

I guess "Christory" can be like driving by a train wreck. It's easy to just slow down and stare.

But in this analogy now, it's as if the train wreck suddenly vanished somehow.

(I gave up on keeping up with "Christory", which may have started when the "Idea Guys" started fouling it up.)
