If that lolcow started making "Sonichu" now instead of 25 years ago, do you think he'd use AI?

If so, it'd be very ironic, as he used to claim that "hand artery" is better than digital art.

Chris seems like the type to jump on the anti-AI bandwagon, but you never know.

 

Even if he did, it seems he's a massive* hypocrite, so he'd likely use AI to make "Sonichu" comics anyway.

Kinda surprised Chris isn’t doing AI art. He really has stopped being creative.

 

A real question is: was he ever creative in the first place?

(While he has a tendency to mindlessly parrot, he used to be more active.)

 

I mean, comparing Sonichu to the parent franchise Sonic.... I give more of a shit about Wild Sonichu than I ever will about Ms. "We Have Sally Acorn At Home" aka Lanolin The Sheep from Sonic IDW.

And I believe Silvana Rosechu's Heel Face turn more than Surge The Tenrec's

And I'd probably be more likely to buy a Sonichu comic at my local comic book store, should onoe be available, than I would be to get the newest "MCU Advertisement Tie-In" book from Marvel, plus DC's been unable to shake the stigma of being "Your dad's comics" since Action Comics #1.

For what it's worth, when it comes to terrible fan creations, I don't hate Sonichu nearly as much as I hate Sonic.exe, though I think this really just says more about how much I hate Sonic.exe.
(Especially its child predator creator, but that's starting to get off topic.)

 

Funnily enough the Sonic fanbase would disagree as Sonic.EXE is a staple of the series, but Sonichu is "We don't talk about Sonichu because the creator banged his mom"

From what I've heard the Sonic.EXE creator didn't actually do what he was accused of and isn't involved with newer Sonic.EXE media, so it's easier to separate him from the character.

I think what it really is, is that it's easier to say you like Sonic.EXE ironically, than it is to say you like Sonichu ironically as it's just not possible to have Sonichu stand on his own; the comic is about Chris afterall.

A shame, older Sonic games (SRBKart2 and Sonic Adventure 2 for example) have mods that add Sonichu as playable, but ask for such a thing for Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers (SRBKart2 but good basically) or Sonic Froontiers and people look at you funny.

 

The house would be destroyed and Chris would get killed by the dang dirty jerkguards.

The fact some things like Sonic.EXE can blow up past the creator even if it lasted for a brief moment can make it all harder in "who the hell is the predator." Meanwhile, Sonichu is something that can be attributed solely to Chris since thankfully to my knowledge, no slop uploaders and content farms are trying to capitalize on Sonichu. Actually, it'd be pretty horrific if the brain rot that kids can reach did have any amount of Sonichu in them.

Two of them can stand on their own because they represent on idea, one of them only represents a guy.

Which is a shame, I'd love to see Sonichu randomly cameoing in Sonic Fan Games or FNF like Mr. Needlemouse or that deranged version of Tails.. You know the one. This guy -

And honestly if Sonichu actually did anything except for cheer for Chris-Chan in any media involving him, he might actually be one of those "Fandom embraced OCs" like Irish The Hedgehog, Starved Eggman, Trevor The Hedgehog, Ian Jr., Sunky, Cynic, Seelkadoom, Sanic or....

Honestly there's so many of them at this point...

The only relevance I've seen Sonichu have in modern fan projects is there was an unfinished Sonichu stage in FNF: Vs. Sonic.EXE which had Bulbasaur randomly hanging out... Which turned out to be a decoy stage meant to throw off dataminers and was never intended to be completed

The point is Sonichu needs Chris to be interesting, he can't stand on his own and he never will unless someone makes this amazing fan project that's entirely divorced from Chris-Chan, and it wouldn't have to be anything major either. Not that I recommend anyone try that.

 

No doubt. If Chris didn't make Sonichu about CWC, Sonichu would of just been another Sonic OC made to be lost in the digital sea, especially since it was made in the early days of the internet where you had sites like AskJeeves being a thing and a lot of people waiting for 10 minutes to get a short funny video to play. Sonichu is only interesting because it became a vehicle to the mind of CWC on top of how everyone interacted by trolling Chris. And with Sonichu that thing will always be associated with Chris since even if someone made say a fun fan game with no mention of Chris, all it takes is one search and people seeing things like "incest" to drag Sonichu back to the creator.

 

What would happen if Chris ended up in AKIRA?

I will say I think Sonichu is far more memorable than Sonic.exe, however. Plus, one could argue Sonichu is at least so bad it's unintentionally hilarious, whereas Sonic.exe is only funny as being the pinnacle of a cliched tryhard shitty creepypasta from the early 2010s.

The kind that relied too much on tired tropes like hYpEr rEaLiStIc bLoOd for cheap shock value, that readers were already used to and sick of by then.

 

If you want a super powerful cosmic demonic version of Sonic with creepy red eyes.

Sonic The Comic had you covered the whole time.

 

Sometimes I think about the peaceful, sunny, glorious utopia we would live in if Chris never did the incest.
