    Yes, it's life's fault for not catering to Chris' every whim up to an including a real life compliant blowup doll to waste his comeuppance inside of on. He finally fingered the real culprit, he has to be getting better!

    To be fair, his disgusting surroundings probably contribute a lot to his stress. And his life really is fucked up. He doesn't know how to deal with the mess and it interferes with menial tasks, I think.

    Yeah, aside from going out to Game Place 2.0, Chris is pretty much cooped up in a hoarder house with his shut-in elderly mother. No real success with Sonichu, the Love Quest is still going on, and the God And The Bear Basically Promised Daughter Crystal still doesn't exist. Meanwhile, Chris is the laughingstock of the Internets, due to his own shitty choices encouraged by a shitty coddled upbringing.

    Chris had plans to play in a Pokemon tournament yesterday. I don't know if he actually went or not, but the event took place in the afternoon, which is when he was supposedly stressed. Maybe he lost?

    Chris probably realized his tugboat was coming in and wasn't going to be in port for more than five minutes before it was used up by bills.

    Or, as @Hurtful Truth Level mentioned, he had his Pokeymans thing yesterday... maybe he didn't have enough scratch to by more worthless Pokemon shit and he could only go back home and surround himself with all the ooooold toys he bought from last month.

    If he did poorly, wasn't able to go, or Barb didn't let him go for whatever reason, the stress would be explained. That's almost sure to be the stressor.
