This may have been answered before, but if (and this is the most likely scenario, let's not fool ourselves) this turns out to be a ween going "HUR DUR! I TROLLED U CHRIS!" and there's no 25k coming, is there really anything that ebay can do? Would it just be a case of ebay shrugging and going "Meh, sorry Chris....." and the ween's account would just be banned or something?

 

Ebay cant force the sale, they can suspend or limit the offending account.

 

Sure the ween won't lose sleep over that...

 

I think his ego is like his duck; he strokes both and they're deformed

 

They'll be too busy bragging about their accomplishment on Kiwi Farms and wondering how come the rest of the user base is doxxing them instead of declaring them the next Clyde Cash.

All Ebay will do is place an Unpaid Item Strike on that account. It goes away after a few months and doesn't really affect anything on its own (if a lot of those strikes accummulate, Ebay would remove privileges, like being able to buy, etc).

 

I think that the most epic way for this particular saga to end is if it turned out that Pmurt is the one buying these items.

 

Someone actually bought that disgusting old shirt. This is getting out of hand. People cant keep buying this literal trash from him and keeping his ego up enough for him to believe he can just pick up any piece of garbage from his house and sell it. You can buy that same shirt for $30 on the internet! I even found it for $10, but the listing expired. How can him owning it increasing the price 1000%? I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING

the only thing that makes a little sense is some sort of counter-troll buying it just to troll us, but that's a whole new flavor of retarded we've discovered, apparently. We're witnessing it, right here, right now.
