That brings up a good point: did Chris ever actually play Hyperdimension Neptunia?

 

I think he was only into the anime.

I really do think the Idea Guys were the worst trolls. If it wasn't for them, Chris likely wouldn't think he's a "goddess", nor believe "da merge is on".

There's even the possibility that the Idea Guy meddling somehow eventually led to the incest.

 

In what way? Chris doesn't seem to have connected his actions to the merge, which surprised me. He connects it to his Jesus delusions, but he didn't believe in those until after he was arrested.

 

With Chris separating himself from reality more than ever following IG so to did he mentally separate the consequences of his actions, that's not to say he ever gave much thought of consequences in the past, but it's easy to understand that if you view yourself as a literal god then, in your eyes, the laws of conventional society don't apply to you.

I believe the incest was wholly from Chris and was perhpas something he had though about for a long time; personally I think the connection to the merge, Jesus, and "healing" her were justifications Chris made after the fact. The fact that Chris kept it partly a secret, at first only revealing he was having sex but with who, suggests he knew what he was doing was at the very least illegal so Chris isn't totally divorced from reality, which sadly makes things worse because there was a degree of premeditation.

 

This is why it's frustrating to see people go "Oh Chris is totally schizo! He fucked his mom and thought he was healing her!" People who think they're healing their mother don't brag about fucking her better than her late husband.

 

Who knows? Maybe something in the "dimensional merge" brainwashing or other crap they pulled somehow led to the incest? Or maybe not. It's also possible that Chris was just getting really thirsty, and didn't or couldn't get with a hooker again.

 

The hints were there years before the Idea Guys.

 

If there's "eternal recurrence" (circle time), CWC could be stuck in the Life of Fail over and over and over.

Can you imagine Chris being trapped in an endless looping hell of "monkey", the "abusive babysitter", being mute, "God AND The Bear", discovering sanic, "AND I JUST WON", "BEST BIRTHDAY EVER", "inventing" "Sonichu", "Count Graduon", "WORST BIRTHDAY EVER", the "Love Quest", the dean, the "jerkops", Patti passing away, the GAMe PLACe photo, "Classic Chris" ("JULAY!"), "Tomgirl", Bob passing away, the hit-and-run, the fire, "DON'T CALL ANYBODY", "Pristine Christine", "Financhu Crisis", "Night Star", a clown car of weens, "da merge is on", "GOPony", "healing" Barb, "Jail of Fail", whatever is left in the Life of Fail... and then back to "monkey"?

If "eternal recurrence" really were true, Borb could be the biggest trolls for imprisoning Chris in it.

 

I always wonder how Chris would have turned out if his parents hadn’t insisted on putting him into mainstream schooling instead of special-needs schooling.

 

Maybe, but the Idea Guys sped it up at the very least. They killed whatever tiny sliver of Chris that was still grounded in reality. A reality where incesting your mom is wrong. Defending the Idea Guys may not go the way you think it will here.

 

Defending?

The Idea Guys were one of the worst things that ever happened to Chris. I'm just saying that they are not 100% responsible for what happened. I agree about the 'destroying his sense of reality' thing.

I feel like all the trolls - from Blanca right up to the present day - have each destroyed part of Chris's sanity. That goes especially for the Idea Guys: Cwcville was one of the few things Chris had control over and they ruined that for him.

When it comes to incest, Chris never connected his actions to the merge or Cwcville or anything like that. I heard someone (possibly in this thread) say that this would probably have happened even if Chris never believed in the merge.

If we're going to say the Idea Guys are responsible for what happened, then so are the other trolls Chris had (to a certain degree).

 

If it wasn't for weens like the Idea Guys, then later the "Teen Troon Squad", "Sockness", and "Praetor", Chris wouldn't believe in the "Dimensional Merge".

And he wouldn't cling to the delusion that he's a "goddess" called "Blue Heart".

So yeah, now I think that the incest thing was just Chris getting too thirsty, but the Idea Guys and later weens definitely wrecked what was left of Chris' sanity.

 

Also (something I forgot to mention): both of Chris's previous major legal troubles happened with no influence from trolls.

He might still have some strange tendencies, but I feel like he would be a much better-functioning member of society.

 

Let's be real, autistic men are almost always going to have something different about them (I specify gender because women apparently show different signs that makes them much harder to diagnose). However, he could have had some kind of training to help him cope better. I know it's been said before, but autism wasn't the only thing wrong with Chris.

Most of it really seems to come down to bad parenting. What we're really asking is 'What if Chris had decent parents who actually understood his needs and wanted to help him?'

What if one of the trolls had introduced Chris to Scientology?

 

He watches south park, right? That, combined with him being terminally online, probably means that Chris is aware of the "religion's" reputation, and even he would never degrade himself so severely as to join the church of scientology. But, if a ween managed to get close to him and tried to insert lore about thaetans and Xenu...

Quite frankly, I'm shocked nobody's tried something like that yet.
