Sonichu Sonichu (the comic itself)

It's time for the next chapter.
Excuse me, I mean episode.
(Seriously Chris, get your jargon right.)

Spoiler: Episode 5, part 1

So According to that map (which might be the worst map I have ever seen), the entire city of Cwcville is a single building (possibly a mall), Perfect Chaos destroyed Station Square to the point where it's now just two towers (World Trade Center?), Pallet Town is now only two oversized houses, Viridian City has been bombed, leaving only the gym behind, and Sonic's house (which he now has, for some reason) is the size of the Super mall. And that's without getting into the implication that the Kanto region of Japan, San Francisco, and all of Virginia (as seen by Chris) are in close proximity of eachother.
Chris is an expert at proportions and geography.

 

Being the TV addict he was, Chris wanted a cartoon show all along, and wanted to do Sonichu's voice.

But because he lacked the means to make a cartoon show, he settled for comics instead.

All that CADD education really was put to use there.

 

Spoiler: Episode 5, part 2

You guys know how autistic kids would create scenarios where their favorite cartoon character teams up with their OC to fight the bad guys from the show. That's pretty much what Sonichu #1 is, except Chris was at least 22 when he wrote this.

 

That little boy who "just won" that sweepstakes never grew up inside.

 

Spoiler: Episode 5, the finale

You know what's a good way to tell if your wall of text is confusing to almost everybody on planet Earth? When you have to number the order of the text just to make it somewhat easier to follow (it's still confusing, BTW).
And we haven't even gotten to the worst of the text walls, yet.

 

Sonichu so far is still more enjoyable than The World's Luckiest Guy.

Spoiler: Episode 6, part 1

I give Robotnik's song a 4 out of 10. Not nearly as good as his SA2 theme.

Also, I'm willing to bet Chris no longer thinks dancing Eggman is the stupidest thing he ever drew after that whole "shecameforcwc.jpg" fiasco that destroyed his (already sour at that point, mind you) relationship with Megan.

Spoiler: Episode 6, part 2

Metal Sonichu is possibly the only one of Chris's creations that he fully admits to being a ripoff ("you sure lack an imagination").
Of course, any hint of self awareness goes completely down the drain when you considered the fact that Chris thinks cartoon characters are real (even back then), and that he's really just trying to shift that lack of imagination onto fictional character Dr. Eggman.

 

Spoiler: Episode 6, part 3

And so, Metal Sonichu was hurled to the moon, never to be seen again, because Chris lost interest in this plot point that he created.
Also, "SHOCK".

 

The action is... hard to follow.

 

Spoiler: Episode 6, finale

Chris actually thought all women acted like this back then. TBH, he still seems to only understand women through stereotypes he sees on TV shows that are usually not meant to be taken seriously.
Also, Christian and the Hedgehog Boys, Chris's "virtual band" that's just Chris droning out his own made up lyrics over songs that he couldn't be bother to find instrumental versions. Such a glorious train wreck, like everything else from the Classic era.

 

Rosechu really is just Amy Rose with a male Raichu tail and a blue stripe on all her clothes.

 

Except Amy is actually able to defend herself, while Rosechu just waits to be rescued by Sonichu like the obedient sex toy that she is.
Anyways, on to my personal favorite sub-episode: the dramatization of the Hannah incident.

Fun fact: Chris redrew and revised the third page when trolls discovered him and thought a fat man shouting about his heart level in front of magical rainbow colors made him look really gay.

Just an FYI, Chris really did scream "NOOOOOOO" when he found out Hannah was a troll. This resulted in yet another encounter with the "jerkops" and a banhammer (presumably for disturbing the peace).

Somehow, from just writing alone, I could always tell that Chris is fat and mentally ill.

It's always weird to see Chris in such an innocent state of mind. He really believed all of this would happen. It's hard not to applaud him for trying. Things seemed so much simpler then.
