    Part of what makes Pokemon so interesting is seeing how humans cope living in a world full of supernatural monsters, especially in times when they didn't have technology for easily dealing with it. Fantasy dinosaurs just fighting and frollicking and eating eachother is a lot less interesting even if you do make them breathe fire or move shit with their mind.

    Dinosaur skeletons look neat, but I can't imagine that any of them ever did anything important.

    I like the Mystery Dungeon series and there's no people in them.

    (then again the pocketmons themselves act as the people in them)

    That and there's signs that humans have already existed in those games. Post apocalyptic settings are more interesting to me than Mesozoic age settings.

    There's a lot of cute/elegant merch out there for Mew, but all of the Mewtwo merch out there is pretty lazy. I'm bummed about it.

    Remeber when Mew giveaways were at those special events like in malls with those kiosk things you put your cartridge into? This was around 2000, when that first movie came out in Burgerland.

    The way rare pocketmon giveaways happened in the '00s was easier: bring DS game to a wireless point in certain stores, have 'mon wirelessly transferred, pick up in-game from a delivery guy.

    Yeah, I know Celebi never made it to the West for events back in G/S/C days. It sucked because as a kid I was wondering where the hell the events were and I sort of assumed it was because I lived in a small town that I didn't get them

    I didn't even get a Pokemon game until Gen 2, and I don't recall ever having access to in-person event Pokemon. I DID get my mystery gift Mew in Violet though in preparation for that Mewtwo raid. That was a fun time. I ended up with a mystery gift Darkrai too.

    Where I lived during the peak of the first 'mon craze* had an in-person Mew giveaway event at some mall.

    * The second 'mon craze was when Pokemon Go came out.

    Found out about Uranium, a fan-made pocketmons game.

    There is the new Nuclear type, which IIRC is weak to all but Nuclear (resists), and Nuclear is super effective on all but Nuclear and Steel (which resist). So in other words, it looks like the new Nuclear type is sorta like that new Shadow type from Colosseum and XD.

    Haven't played so don't know the story much. Also it seems the ingame graphics are like a mix of Gen 4 and 5.

    Man, this Pokemon leak is amazing. I am so salty all the stuff we didn't get for X/Y because Nintendo wanted Gamefreak to release a Pokemon game quickly to boost 3DS sales which weren't doing so hot at the time and this was Gamefreak's first time working in 3D...

    All of the Gen 3 beta stuff is pretty cool, plus I really like that Gen 6 peanut plant dinosaur

    Legends ZA looks amazing! Apparently it is actually a sequel of sorts after XY rather than a prequel. I hope we eventually get Eternal Flower Floette for the players

    it’s more of a sequel of sorts then a remake. I still wish it took place in the 19th century like people initially thought since I like that era.

    "Video unavailable Watch on YouTube"... I don't like that.

    Also vid is "Pokémon Generations Episode 9: The Scoop", which seems to be based on that part of ORAS where the protag goes to orbit to battle DNA 'mon with green flying rod 'mon. Sounds cool.
