FB 10/24/17 When Zapina met Simonla

Apparently CWCville buildings are up to a least a mile high. For comparison, the tallest building in our world is the Burj Kalifa, at 0.52 miles high.

 

For video game nerds out there, the Combine Citadel from Half-Life 2 is around 1.6 miles high. Insert jokey comparison between Chris' Sonichu police force and the Combine Overwatch here.

 

Would you compare Magi-Chan's abilities to that of a Combine Advisor? They're both pretty terrifying when you think about.

 

I started reading this..and then got ..really bored....no one asked about this shit did they?

 

One of the biggest things that bugged me about the pokemon anime is that the pokemon seemed to have a child's level of intellect, and only acted like animals when the plot called for it. Chris keeps having the afterbirth sonichus and rosechus found by pokemon who raise them when wild animals would likely have just eaten them or abandoned the baby. Worse, if life's taught me anything, its that children are the most evil form of humanity.

Some animals in captivity offer help to young from different species but that's because all their needs are being cared for. its unnatural.

I know, look at me applying logic to chris's nonsensical garbage.

 

Funny thing is the tower that Magi-chan watches the city from is the tallest building in cwcville so this comparison isn't too far off.

 

Maybe Chris likes Kipling's The Jungle Book simply for one of its characters having been raised by animals not of it's species.

 

Only if the copy he read had more pictures than words.

 

It was probably the Disney animated movie version.

Chris would say 'Kipling? You're so weird! Disney made the Jungle Book!'
and chris just needs a reason to put his favorite pokemon in his crappy story. that's it. its the same mentality in most fanfiction. My character was raised by goku AND vegeta, so that makes him super special!

 

I thought so too, or some other animated version of it. I know there was once an anime version of it that was pretty good.

I remember binging the old Soviet Jungle Book cartoon on the train to Moscow. It's as weird as it sounds.

Russian animation of the Soviet era is still highly revered. Even if the best they did with it over here was get a couple celebs to do voiceovers.

And if you thought of something shorter than that, there's always Chuck Jones' adaptation, Mowgli's Brothers. Of course there's also a lot of retreaded crappier versions out there too numerous to mention so I'll just stick those in a spoiler!

I joked this elsewhere but that moment reminded me of Project A-Ko, those two are like A-ko and C-Ko!

 

I don't know enough of pokemon to understand that. I feel I should be proud of this.

 

All you need to know is that pokemon translated into English means "Stupid American who will buy anything".
