I can see why Chris backed out of that glass sorting gig. No pokeyman, no sanic, no LEGOs, just standing there doing the same thing over and over that isn't stuff he likes.

Also Chris might look down on glass sorting as a job for "exceptional individuals" -- it's like the shame he felt over riding on the short bus, the rage he felt when Rob Bell called him an "adult autistic child," or his adamant refusal to date a "special needs" girl.

And the comparison to Randy Stair is unfair, I think. Chris has been shown to be habitually unmotivated. He's obsessed, but he's not angry or obsessed with death and violence like Randy was. He's not even like Nick Bates who openly 'joked' about molesting his 8-year old half sister. Hell, even Jonathan Ross, who makes death threats, doxes people, and shit his pants until he was 12 is an admitted pedophile (though he hasn't acted on it). Compared to these three, Chris is virtually innocent. In a way, his laziness may have kept him from committing anything worse than assault.

 

I rather liked him using Pittance.
