Agreed. The CWCki is great and as I mentioned above it has provided me many hours of enjoyment. But I wonder if it was frozen, i.e., no new updates after a certain date, it would signal less that "this is an ongoing saga and you should think about ways to fuck with Chris currently." It would still serve as an expansive Christorical chronicle.

 

A few years ago, the CWCki included the total number of views on the site in the Statistics page. Does anyone what happened to it?

 

Even after, the funeral (FUN eral?) will need to be reported on, and perhaps even yearly pilgrimages to his grave.

Seriously though I kind of shudder at the idea of hundreds of middle-aged spergs still following Chris Chan decades from now.

 

We shudder, Ruckersville sees tourism dollars from a cult following. And tourism dollars are going to win every time.

 

Can't wait to go piss on his grave every year in a pickle suit.

 

We will all proceed to spit, fart, piss, shit, and masturbate on his tombstone, kicking it and screaming "FUCK LIFE! WHAT A WASTE!" "FUCK YOUR LIFE! WHAT A WASTE!" and write "REST IN PIECES FAG" on the headstone while other may pour pickles and tartar sauce all over his grave.

 

So basicaly he will be buried in the hoard.

 

I get this a lot too. Either that or the site is uploading slower than Forrest Gump in a spelling bee. I don't think it's my internet, because other sites will load rather quickly.

 

I now have an image of some ween visiting Chris's grave each year a la the Poe Toaster, leaving behind a rose and a snifter of pickle juice.

 

It's not. There's some server-side issue that causes the whole thing to time out and Marvin stopped trying to fix it like a year or two ago. @Hurtful Truth Level linked Marv's explanation in his post on the previous page:

Not hacked. ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID means their certificate expired.

 

The Cwcki's main page looks like it was designed by Chris in the early 2000s, that being, it looks kinda shit. I don't have any ideas on how to fix it, considering the "Begging Counter" is extra long right now because of the donation disclaimer, which I feel is a good inclusion, I think that's screwing everything up, that and "Da Update" is way larger then it should be. If it's suppose to look like shit as a sort of homage to Chirs' bad web design that would be ok but I feel like legibility is more important.

 

I miss when "da update" had updates. Now it's all like "lol just go to kiwi farms."
