    Well chris does believe in multiple realities, it's only logical (as logical as chris gets) that he'd be attracted to some cartoon that reinforces that belief. Of course I doubt chris understands the nihilism in the show.

    In all fairness, you have to pretend to have a really high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. All the pop culture references are there and spelled out for you so you can feel smarter than all your dumb normie friends. In hindsight, its the perfect show for Chris.
