Thank God the Build-A-Bear is still open. Chris can still make another Lil' Chris.

 

Sometimes I wonder if Chris is actually being contacted by spiritual entities. Same as Randy Stair.. but like they got the message wrong and thought there was some merge, but it was something else entirely... but it "translated wrong"

But then I come down from my shroom high and go back to Disgaea 4 grinding.

 

Not the first time that idea popped up.

 

Yeah I suggested that idea as a joke.

The thing that prevents me from taking the idea seriously is they'd probably find someone stable and talk about this stuff through them.

I mean why is it that God only seems to wanna talk to crazy people?

That said I had similar delusions to the Dimensional Merge at my lowest points and that leaves me wondering why Chris and Randy went crazy in the same ways. The only difference honestly is that I had good friends and a good therapist to snap me out of it.

It's actually why I find those two so interesting. It's like looking into a "What if" scenario where I didn't get help

 

If demons are real, I'm sure that they have higher ambitions than weening.

 

Eh I dunno... Demons allegedly work to tempt us into sin. Who's the easier mark? Someone already cartoonishly selfish and on the edge of losing it or literally anyone else?

 

I could see really small time no name demons who none of hell takes seriously becoming weens. Like the kind of lesser demons who aren't even good enough to bring Satan his coffee, and just polish Pazuzu's shoes or something. Maybe they would try to troll Chris to get a promotion, and would just embarrass themselves.

 

While we all agree that Bob was a better parent than Barb, there's one thing in particular about Bob that I think played a major role in reinforcing some of Chris's behavior and delusions. What I'm talking about is how paranoid Bob was, and how willing he was to both entertain and create conspiracy theories. The genesis of this was probably planting the Greene County conspiracy in Chris's head in the 90s, and then continuing to entertain it as an ongoing conspiracy well into Chris's adult years in the 2000s, being referenced and discussed by both Chris and Bob as late as 2010, a year before Bob's death.

I think that this is what led to Chris in his 30's coming up with bizarre conspiracies that were extensions of this one, like Megan Schroeder and Michael Snyder both being involved with trolling him, and that it was continuing to the then present day. I think that it may have also played a role in making Chris more susceptible to the Idea Guys planting nonsensical ideas and conspiracies in his head, outside of Chris's naive and gullible nature in general. Believing things like the Greene County conspiracy and the GAMe PLACe being a central part of it, and Bob entertaining these ideas probably made the things the Idea Guys were telling him sound more believable to Chris.

You can still see this trait that was arguably instilled in him by his late father in the Chris of today. His outlandish conspiracy theory that MLP G5 is Russian propaganda, and that the whole cartoon series is something that was orchestrated by the Kremlin working together with Hasbro behind the scenes is a perfect example of this I can think of off the top of my head, that Chris still talks about regularly.

 

If that "smart" lolcow started believing in flat earth or hollow earth, it should come as a surprise to none.

Now HOLLOW Earth on the other hand, I could see him buying into that since it's another world that's so close, and so far away...... And it seems to be accepted and fully embraced by the New Age community.

Also the documentary Godzilla X Kong: Fallen Empire told me Hollow Earth was real, so... there ya go

This is a guy who thinks launching the world's tobacco supply into the sun would stink up the solar system.

And a guy who thinks people will just accept that the incest "happened in another dimension" or similar BS.

 

But.. even with Chris, there has to be SOME limit, right?

I mean despite... what he is, he is still a man is he not?

 

What was surprising about this to me, and was made even more surprising by the announcement in the description is, I didn't even know that Chris listened to any non-English music that wasn't a select number of anime theme songs. Let alone that he listened to classic Hebrew rock music.

Kaveret is a 70s Israeli pop rock band, a pretty good one at that, and "Yo Ya" is one of their most beloved and iconic bangers from 1973. It's very surreal to hear both AI classic Chris, and real current Chris singing in Hebrew, an Israeli rock song from 50 years ago no less. I've heard that H3H3's Ethan Klein has used "Yo Ya" in his videos and on his streams before, and it's very likely that Chris watches Ethan given how many other big YouTubers he follows like MoistCr1tikal and Saberspark. I think it's probable Chris learned about this song from watching H3H3 and liked what he heard.

I know the next one he did is Silakka-apajalla, a Finnish polka song from 1978 by the late Veikko Lavi. Also not the sort of non-English music I would expect Chris to be listening to. As you would expect, Chris singing in Finnish twice is very weird to hear.

 

Chris has been learning Finnish on Duolingo, and he's actually stuck with it for months

I'm actually surprised there's even that many. That place looked absolutely desolate during The Gunt's stream (though to be fair that WAS during Covid)

 

There's some malls that are still busy, but definitely not a lame 1-floor mall in a small city in Virginia.
