That sweepstakes really didn't help the Life of Fail much.

 

Chris was a blasphemer long befote the whole "christ-chan" thing. Remember that sonichu panel where sonichu appeared in a flash of light, arms outstretched in a T-pose position, in front of someone who was praying in a church, and then proceeded to butcher a quote from the bible?

 

I love the comments on the Sonic sweepstakes video.

According to vinelink he's still in custody but then again it might take a few days to actually transfer him, there was a transfer order on the 10th, there's no telling where he might go, it's sad to see they've released him, I'm not confident Chris is going to stay away from 14 BC if he has the freedom to leave wherever he'll be staying at (assuming they don't just turn him out onto the street). From that receipt from May he had $460, hard to say how much of that may be left but it could easily pay for a uber or taxi of some kind to get to 14 BC, the jail is half an hour away. The silver lining is that Chris will probably be fitted with an ankle bracelet so any attempt to pop in for a quick visit will end with a return to jail. This is assuming he has actually been deferred.

 

So he’s out of jail?

 

It's likely he's going to a mental hospital or a group home, which seem to be pretty much like jail.

So it could be the "Asylum of Fail" or the "Slow-In-The-Minds House of Fail" after the "Jail of Fail".

 

Wait, Chris is going to Arkham Asylum?

 

I guess his lawyer finally smacked some sense into him and got him to agree to a plea bargain. Maybe looking at a felony charge convinced him.

 

After all of us joking about it, it would be hilarious if he actually did get himself sectioned.

 

So when can we be expected to hear from Chris again? I imagine that wherever he's being placed, he probably has more access to the outside world than in jail.

 

Would you want to hear from CWC again?

It'd likely be the same old egotistical delusions from him, over and over and over.

 

I'm not so sure. Don't people in jails usually have access to the internet. I wonder if they let people in mental institutions go online.

 

people in prisons get internet if they prove they can be trusted with it, and needless to say, it's heavily monitored (they give them the privilege as behavior modification, they can reward them for being compliant and take it away if they break the rules) - I imagine being in jail or prison is incredibly boring and depressing, so being able to surf the internet would be something to look forward to
Chris still has basic rights if he's institutionalized, but they can stop letting him have contact with the outside world if it's harming him
IDK if they'd let a mental patient have internet access, esp. someone with Chris's track record

 

So in other words, they may do what the "Internet Lumberjack" tried to do years ago.

 

The axe at the loony bin has been sharpened already in preparation. That internet will at last be cut down.

 

A bit too little, too late, don't you think?

 

Again, it's not like they won't try, since they're well aware of the intensity of the internet drama: otherwise the judge wouldn't have accepted the petition to seal the case.

I've a feeling that there may be a plan to try and hit the brakes of the internet drama train, à la Unstoppable. Whether that it will work is, of course, debatable: not something I can determine alone.
