    I graduated high school in '96, so 90s music to me means stuff I listened to while getting ready for school in the morning, hanging out at the pool with my friends, all the mix tapes I made, etc. (Ah, back when MTV played actual videos)

    My ex-girlfriend once told me she associated this song with me more than any other in her mind. I wasn't sure whether to be mildly offended, complimented, or whether I should try and head over to hook up with her one last time when she laid that on me. :confused: Maybe all three simultaneously was the right answer?

    Okay, most of the ones I think of have been put here, but there's one conspicuous by its absence. I actually like this one so let's start with it.



    A song I don't like so much now in retrospect, but it's burned into my gray matter forever:



    Two from the same band but I can't get them out of my head either





    Also, a song I hated but I can't think of the 90s without it:



    And finally, the worst song of the decade. On "High Rotation" a song on a top 40 station is supposed to play 3 times an hour or so. In computer science class we had the radio on and we would tally on the chalkboard how many times it played. This song played 6 times an hour on 3 different occasions. Celine Dion "My Heart Will Go On." No link because I'm not that big of a faggot.

    I really like 90's alt rock, when I started getting into music it was early 2000s, but my older cousin shared his ITunes library whenever he visited and he had a lot of it. Just glad it made me mostly dodge Nu Metal. That and the one kid in my class nobody liked was waaay into Limp Bizkit so it made the rest of us avoid it.







    Also I'm always going to associate some part of the 90s with Fatboy Slim. It's inevitable but really good.
