Was that the primary reason staff decided to dox him? Because it's not like he purposefully set out to make boring content, he just had shitty taste.

We probably didn't miss much while he was in command, anyway. I mean, Chris would've gone to MAGfest either way. Plus the stuff that provided most of the entertainment from 2017, Financhu Crisis, Doopie and Quinn, had wrapped up by the time Idea Guy showed up. I guess we missed out on nu Sonichu Ponychu and Random Updates for a while.

You guys could've tried PM'ing him with something like, "We know you're Idea Guy and your name is Josh Wise. Fuck off of Chris or we'll drop your and your family's dox." I think he'd have capitulated to that.

 

Its usuaally jist drop dox dude. Plus ideas guy seemed hated. Hatred clouds sound judgement.

 

I always feel like the CWC community takes doxxing way too lightly, tbh fam. Being a dumbass troll in your youth shouldn't be a permanent albatross around your neck.

Also, Hurtful Truth Level is a national treasure. JFC if the farms are demodding him.

 

Well, in the right hands doxing could be used to make your life at least a little inconvenient. Finding you on Facebook for instance and letting your friends and family know what you did is probably not fun for the person who got doxed. There's also the classic trick of ordering pizzas and stuff to your address.

Plus, if the dox are public, it will show up when someone searches his name on Google, which could have negative consequences as well.

 

If this guy has friends that aren’t fuck pillows they’re probably leading their own cringe worthy lives. Seeing his parents reaction might be funny though, maybe this grown ass man will get grounded.

 

I read *most* of the thread. I’ve been around the Chris community since he ran over Snyder with his car - traversed a multitude of forums, watched Champthom step down and usher in the Kiwi Dynasty ...

That being said:

1) At this point, Chris, as a cow, is basically dried up. Nearly everything he’s done over the past few years has been engineered by whatever poor soul is managing him. Sure, he’ll go to cons and what not, but aside from getting his photo taken with some people (Including the Super Best Friends at MAGFest,) he’s not doing anything particularly funny without it basically being scripted. Marvin has said that it has taken a lot of effort to get him to do things - posting videos, going tete-a-tete with a “rival”, etc.

2) It’s pretty fucking obvious that Chris isn’t doing so great mentally. For fuck’s sake, none of the Idea Guy stuff would’ve been remotely possible if he hasn’t clearly declined over the years. (IMHO, he hasn’t been the same since the Lumberjack cut down his last internet.) I mean, Chris legitimately believes there are alternate parallel universes where fictional characters exist and that IG was several of them, communicating to him via Twitter/Steam/whatever. Some may argue that the hormones Chris is taking are messing with him, to which I won’t argue, but Marv, in his post on Kiwi, was right - it’s like kicking a man when he’s down.

3) KF and Chris - Chris doesn’t really fit with the atmosphere of KF anymore. Yes, he’s what originally spawned the Farms, but the climate has changed. KF isn’t really “Look, but Don’t Touch” anymore. In the beginning, if a cow wandered into their thread, (ie: TJ Church, Marijan) hijinx would ensue and it’d be hilarious, or in a rare occurrence, would be super cool and contact Null and politely request their thread be locked (AFemininePad.) Kiwi used to follow eccentrics - weirdos who would make unintentionally hilarious content we could giggle about. Now, it just seems like people are labeled “cows” because their opinions don’t coincide with the OP’s or they’re shitty people or have some sort of political agenda, or the OP just doesn’t like them, (NYPA my ass) and a thread doesn’t go up unless the person has been doxed to their 2nd cousin. In the beginning, no one gave two shits where a cow lived, as long as they kept producing content. No one got involved, no one wasted time hassling the cows in question, we just pointed and laughed.

I say close the Chris sub and let KF continue to evolve.

4) As far as people knowing who IG was prior to “the big reveal” - the whole situation was handled poorly. A lot of people who recently started following Chris don’t take the time to read the CWCki or learn about the shit he pulls or who’s involved, but they damn well want to have that fancy “Christorical Figure” banner. They want to be “THE ONE” who gets through to Chris to either manipulate or save him. The members who got PM’s should’ve spoken up, even if it turned out to be nothing, it’d show that Ballzy/Josh Wise, was a sped, even if he was lying. “No shit is too minor” and all that. Hell, just fire off a PM to a mod you don’t think is a sack of shit and say “Hey, IDK wtf this is, but this dude is implying he is/knows Idea Guy. Don’t know if there’s anything here, but figured I’d give a head’s up.” Considering IG did this to multiple people, they’re all retards. Had even one of them fired off a quick note, the Disco people wouldn’t have been so quick to cannibalize their own.

Marv admitted to having been in contact with IG and said that though it wasn’t his place to tell the guy to cut the shit, he did “give advice” and lead him away from any trolling plans that IG had that would get Chris injured.

Picking a fight with @Yawning Sneasel was not only a desperate cry for “NO ONE IS PAYING ATTENTION TO MY EPIC LULZ AND TOP COCKS” but it was also dumb. Do I think Hedgehog deserved to get his Supervisor position taken away? No. He explained his reasoning as to why he did what he did and he didn’t handle the situation well either. He’s not the first mod to fuck up and he won’t be the last. He’s also one of the few people who still actively follows and documents Chris, and considering a chunk of KF’s staff are MIA anyway, it probably isn’t the worst thing to have someone who cares about keeping tabs on Chris as a Supervisor.

5) I’ll be the first to say I hated the IG saga. Still do. IG was and is a sped and he basically proved to everyone that the Chris-Chan well has run dry and the horse has been beaten to dust.

6) I don’t know if it’s been pointed out, but Idea Guy/BallzyMaker94 signed up on KF immediately after the Jessica Quinn thing last November, right around the time the Idea Guy shit started surfacing. My guess is that he signed up to watch everyone praise his epic trolling.

tl;dr - Oldfag shouts at cloud: Chris has been milked dry, KF has evolved from eccentric cows, Idea Guy is a fucking sped and the situation wasn’t handled well.

P.S. - I’ll be honest, although my time being active at the Farms is pretty much over, I don’t hate it or Null or the community or the people I was friends with but lost contact with from there. My opinions differ from the way KF’s going and frankly, I’m bored with it is all. I felt that needed to be explained, lest someone takes it the wrong way and is all “Wombat is a traitor” or whatever.

It's pretty exceptional that third parties not even involved in weening are getting doxed. WTF is the point of that?

It’s how things are now, I guess. Some people don’t see the need to know where a cow lives/works/hangs out. Some people think it’s integral to the thread. There are lots of people who don’t care if dox is dropped in a thread, but there are always a few - be it lurkers or shitty weens - who take that info and run with it. The dox aren’t the interesting part of the thread, the content that’s produced by the cow is.

Unless the cow is legitimately a danger or threat to society (Nick Bate, JTM, any other known abuser,) or is doing something wrong (TLL, Vordrak,) letting them produce their insanity on their own and then discussing it is the important part.

Doxing an admitted pedophile/rapist/fraud/stalker/etc = Just doxing them should suffice. No need to get grandma involved, unless there’s some crazy rabbit hole
Doxing some random sperg from Twitter all the way to their 8th grade Math teacher from 2008 because you don’t like their views = Too much effort put into too little payout and has nothing to do with the sperg.

Tbh, I don’t think so, but I thought the same at first. JQ had no qualms about withholding content and discouraged Chris from broadcasting too much, whereas IG went out of his way to hint at or flat out admit that he was pulling the strings.

Judging by his sign up date, I get the impression that IG signed up on the Farms once Chris and JQ broke up (the first time) and cancelled their IRL date, then started contacting Chris because the IG content started dropping within a day or two of the final break-up.

 

Going by that logic, it would explain why chris bounced back from his breakup so quickly. Who needs a long distance girlfriend when you have an anime character messaging you for comics.
IG really fucked with chris and had him by the balls on a psychological level. If anything, Josh Wise being doxed is a good warning to other determined weens to look and not touch or your grandma is getting pizza for the next 10 years.

 

Fun fact, there was one guy on KF who trolled the site a few years ago, got everyone freaked out then got doxed.

Of course, when I say doxed, what I mean is that Null (or someone) checked his IP. What they discovered is that he lived in the same location as some other person they were watching, so they doxed him as someone else.

The guy was on vacation at the time, not anywhere near his home. I found that kind of funny when he told me. I saw him doxed and, knowing who he was and that he lived in Quebec, I was surprised to see him doxed as an older guy from Georgia.

 

So they doxxed him and it turns out they merely doxxed him at where he was on vacation?

 

Yep. They thought he was someone else.
