I read the "manifesto" chris wrote. It looks like he finaly found a way to manipulate females without any repercussions.

After reading this, though, I feel like I've contracted Terminal 7 brain cancer.

Agreed but saying we need to nuke Japan again because of anime is pretty out there. It doesn’t offend me, it actually sounds like something I’d say (jokingly). Probably a bad choice of words for a politician though.

 

I had a very brief conversation with a friend about the post. The friend said that he couldn't understand it, I said that it reminded me of the Chris who tried to use a curse-ya-me-ha IRL on Mary Lee Walsh.

This is kind of funny though, for the past couple weeks I've been working on a screenplay which is basically about the idea that Jin became crazy (started imagining cartoon characters talking to him) as a means of making his terrible life in poverty seem more tolerable. When I read this post I basically said "Oh my sweet lord, he's getting worse! With all of the terrible things in his life, what terrible thing has happened to truly make him snap!"

Maybe, Barb has terminal 7 brain cancer.

Well... I never believed a fictional character needed a mercy killing before reading that.

 

Over on KF, @Marvin said that Chris feels powerless, so he copes with fantasies of magic and cartoon bullshit.

So if Marvin is right in this case, Chris doesn't legit believe in this Neptunia stuff, even if he seems to.

 

That could be the cause, but we're not yet sure if chris is just playing pretend for the sake of feeling some semblance of comfort, or that he's actually has jumped off the cliff and has gone nuts. His grip on reality has been pretty loose lately so it could be either one at this point.

One scenario that'd push him to be actually crazy is if something's going on with Barb, say a health scare or she's talking about what might happen if she dies, I can't see Chris handling that well AT ALL and he'd retreat even further into his comfort box of cartoon fantasy to protect himself, maybe going to deep he can't get out. Or Chris's muse is so dead at this point he's literally just slapping anything in his comics for something to do.

 

IT'S ALL IN YER HEAD, CHRIS. THERE IS NO CWCVILLE.

 

There's no way Chris believes in this stuff. He says he does, he want us to think he does and he really really wants it to be real, but he knows it isn't.
This kind of thing is very common in people (especially autists) who don't have much of an existing social life. The video-games and cartoons he watches are more real to him then the trolls and white knights he never talks to. They are his reality more then anything actually real is. For Chris, this has been normal for a long time, autistic people have a hard time drawing lines between fiction and non fiction.
Its almost sad but at the end of the day, it's better for him to be weebing it up then pepper spraying people and running people over, like he used to.

 

Either William is really into this game too or Chris is being super-weird.
I'm surprised that JQ and Chris remain Facebook friends.

If that's the case then we need another bananasaurus to save the day…

I suppose it depends on the severity. Chris obviously suffers from a severe level of autism, but there are undoubtedly people with more mild cases of it who know the difference and don't seriously entertain the "cartoons are real in another dimension" idea.
