Oh wow, you did it, Scott! You made a second Final Fantasy comic that isn't just VII (the most well known and mainstream one) and XI (the one that Square-Enix payed you for, presumably during some sort of drunken stuper)! Too bad the joke still sucks.

Just going to say this, Scott: X-Play was shit (so shitty, in fact, that I've completely forgotten about its existence prior to seeing this), but I wouldn't insult anyone else's humor if I were you.

Okay, I got a good chuckle. Yes, it's a reference joke, and yes, it has nothing to do with video games (what this webcomic is supposed to be about in the first place). But still, I got a good chuckle out of this.

Nothing really notably horrible about this one (even though it's not particularly funny), but since Scott decided to use the actual characters from the games this time, I'm beginning to wonder: why did he even bother making the two stars cats to begin with, and why even bother calling it "VG Cats" if you're repeatedly not going to deliver on the two subjects in your own title: video games and cats?
(And no, anime and the Star Wars prequels by themselves don't count as video games.)

This is a guest comic, but with the obnoxious use of text to rant about how much "POKEMON SUX", I think Shawn Handyside might be a clone of Scotty Boy himself. Yeesh, reading this fanboy rant was just another reminder of why I hate pokemon fans, more than anything else. @One Too Many, provide some scathing commentary for this one, please. Thanks.

Okay, this is just filler and there's no real punchline to it, but you know what? I'll give you a pass for this one, Scott, because it's one of your least awful art pieces out there.

Okay, I could mock Scott for making ugly abominations as Miis for shits and giggles, but since I do that same shit all the time, I'm just not going to do it. So congrats, Scott. 4 out of these 6 comics weren't complete shit! That must be a record for you!

And right when I said something nice about this comic, Scott just had to fuck it up by wasting his readers' times with yet another comic all about his piss poor work ethic. I think your comic's fan base would rather have another terrible vidya spoof, but I guess you hate your fans enough to not give a shit, huh?

Okay, yeah, it's an "LOL VIOLENCE" joke that was made after a self insert strip, but you know what? It's in line with Worms humor, anyways, so I'll let it slide. Too bad you couldn't just upload this in place of the last one, eh, Scotty boy?

"LOL TRANSFORMERS MOVIE SUX". Gotta love that "at least the game's good, right?" tacked on to meet his vidya humor.
(PS: if anyone walks into a Michael Bay movie not expecting it to be brain dead patriotic trash with lots of explosions, hot chicks, and product placement, the joke's more on them than on Bay. Just saying.)

Oh, the hobo died. I just kind of assumed that Scott just dropped the character after realizing he wasn't funny. Was probably expecting too much out of Scott, there.

(FYI, the next "comic" was actually a flash animation that no longer exists due to the death of flash and Scott not giving enough of a shit to archive it. From what I remember, it was just a "WACKY AND ZANY XD" music video for Portal's credits song "Still Alive".)

Considering that she said "the new Smash Bros" instead of "Brawl" has made this "joke" age even worse, thanks to Ultimate bringing back literally every character. Though keep in mind, around this time the full roster ended up getting leaked, including Captain Falcon and Ness, something Scott mentioned on his stupid blog (on the same exact day he posted this comic *facepalm*), meaning this comic was already dated right out the door. Not that it works to begin: You would have to be a major dumbass if you think Captain Falcon isn't going to be in a Smash Bros. title due to "no one liking him", even with his lack of recent games.
(PS: Sakurai delayed Brawl the first time because by the Sega agreed to let Sonic, they had to delay it to actually make him playable. They were given enough time to add three more fighters (Toon Link, Wolf, and Jigglypuff), but Sakurai wanted more time to fine tune them, hence the second delay. Fuck you, Scott, for comparing that to you repeatedly not keeping up to your schedule: your only excuse for that is pure laziness.)

Since Team Fortress 2 was already silly to begin with, I kind of feel like this just replicates (rather than spoofs) things done in TF2, just with the additional "observational" "humor" of "LOL NO ONE CAN UNDERSTAND PYRO XD". I prefer the classes in silly G-Mod shenanigans for TF2 humor, TBH.
