Admittedly, I'm not really a fan of Yahtzee or Zero Punctuation either. Not because he bashed something I like, just find gaming humor unfunny and dull, on top of also finding the "cynical Brit that talks really fast" trope unfunny and boring, with very, very few exceptions. (Also doesn't help that the Escapist Forums was full of mentally ill cultists that took everything he said as the truth without even thinking about forming their own opinions.)
But on a note that's actually related to VG Cats, the backgrounds in that Tingle bashing strip brings to mind three particular words...

VG Cats is only fun in the number of ways to tear it a new asshole, made even more tempting due to the author being an egotistical, raging jackass; kind of like Andrew Dobson, really.

This strip is a good example of Scott's contempt towards anyone that isn't him, insulting people that enjoy card games and his critics in a single comic (in the latter case, thinking his critics deserved to be raped). Also, that cloaked man on the last panel is doing a good impression of anyone reading this shit.

LOL RESIDENT EVIL 4 MERCHANT IS A CREEP LOL. I feel Aeris cosplaying as Ashley (aka an annoying, useless bitch) seems more fitting for this character than Scott probably intended.

Not even trying to defend EA, FYI, just sick of seeing idiots trying to get some easy clout and brownie points from bashing this company that has been bashed by millions of people millions of times over.

And on one final FYI for Scott in this post: You're the only one that saw the Shadow the Hedgehog game and immediately thought "LOL black hedgehog uses guns how racist". Everybody else was making fun of that game mostly for being a stupidly edgy game starring a cartoon hedgehog, thanks to it being developed during the beginning stages of Yuji Naka's brain tumor that eventually resulted in Balan Wonderworld

The fact that you made a comic about this game, rife with shit to mock and laugh at, and your thought process was "LOL RACIST" says more about you, if anything.

 

VG Cats comics can be kind of disturbing.

 

Alpha and Omega sums it up well. One can only wonder who'd even be into that.

Either that or the movies are being made by someone who still thinks money could be made from it. Then again, I can't even see the cult following being worth milking unless they just source the animation to cheaper studios willing to do this for pennies on a Windows 98 machine.

I laughed at the Final Fantasy one but only because I refuse to believe Sqauare-Enix actually commissioned him. Otherwise, I'm laughing even harder at that. Also I'll give him credit on the Max Payne one since it just restricts itself to one panel and its joke for once isn't aiming at over the top gore and the like.

At the very least, Nutshack had an intro some people find catchy. Then again, everything else about it was pure shit.

 

Square Enix commissioning this goober was a worse mistake than the NFT crap.
