Christorians have done a pretty good job of getting The Wallflower's info wiped and it seems we've been pretty respectful of it. Does anyone think this might be the case with a future group home?

I'd say it turned out a whole lot better for the Suitress, since with her, her information was wiped before she got into any serious drama, unlike with the Wallflower. It's surprising how many people don't know what her real name is compared to the Wallflower, even when she got a thread.

 

Making any content those edgelords don't like makes you a lolcow in their eyes. But yeah.

 

Probably a bit late to pose this question, but how seriously are the authorities treating the incest charge vis-à-vis incest? I can't help but shake the feeling that this had less to do with ensuring Barb's well-being than it did with finally having firm-ish grounds to deal with a longstanding nuisance. Chris gets put away, and weens will stop harassing them with bogus calls for welfare checks: win-win.

 

It's hard to tell until we have more concrete information from the court system. The prosecution could potentially up the charges against Chris if they really want to throw the book at him. Or he could be let off relatively leniently if his defense manages to strike a deal. It's still up in the air at this point. But I will be genuinely surprised if he is ever allowed to move back in with Barb. Even if he is released, it sounds like Barb's remaining family might have finally stepped in to manage her affairs. And they want nothing to do with Chris. It kind of depends on what state of mind Barb is in, too. Everything we know about that is still conjecture.

 

Looks like a ween sent a letter to the jail after Chris was transferred.

Also this may be the worst part of "Christory" to weens, but it could be not so bad to Chris as he's in a mental care facility. One that could help rid him of the extreme toon world delusions that have been festering ever since he saw that Roger Rabbit movie and Family Guy episode - and especially since the "Idea Guys".

 

I'm glad Chris is finally getting mental health help, but he's way past the point of no return - maybe if he got this help back when he was kicked out of college (in 2004) he would just be another autistic guy on disability

when he gets out, he's a convicted felon, sex offender, and has no tugboat or home
I hope for Chris's sake Charlottesville has a fantastic offender reentry program or he's screwed

 

Something that Marv had said back during the KF Movie Night days that stuck with me - Chris has learned to tell people, such as social workers and therapists, what they want to hear and then turn around and keep believing whatever the fuck it is he was believing. He's stubborn as hell, so there's always the possibility he's just telling the mental health facility folks that "oh yeah, there's no dimensional merge blah blah blah" and then when he goes back to his cell, he goes back to talking to Sonichu or whatever the headmate du jour is.

 

I think the CWC "happy place" is a land of toys, with favorite cartoon characters - like sanic-style hedgehogs - over which Chris reigns with absolute power as if all others there are toys.

In other words, the idea of "CWCville" before trolling started interfering with it.
