I could have sworn Chris made one of his "smug" videos where he bragged about getting a copyright for Sonichu, or something related to it.

 

I can't tell if Sonichu's right arm supposed to twisted the other way or not. Either that's the palm or the back of the hand.

Also noticed the added "Yes" to Sonichu's quote. That's a new one.

Reminded of a few I knew who crossed their "7's".

People say he has a copyright to Sonichu, but he doesn't quite have a thorough understanding of what it means. The "2000-????" whatever mess is his way of bothering to retroactively copyright the thing back to the beginning when he really doesn't need to do it like that. Not sure where he got that from, but I am reminded of certain merchandised IP's that often did copyrights like that.

 

To think hes not even smart enough to get a creative commons license...

 

He didn't copyright it.

He got a certificate or something on the name "Sonichu" and that's it.

 

I doubt this a reboot so much as it is an homage to Sonichu zero

Normally, I'd be excited for this, but with all the weird gender stuff in his more recent issues of Sonichu, I have a feeling this reboot will be less funny and instead just plain sad and boring.

 

And with no sub-episodes (because Barb said so).

 

Barb also threatened to kill herself if Chris kept wearing woman's clothing so I think he just doesn't want to do sub episodes.

 

I wonder will he manage to make it more of a narrative clusterfuck than it was first time around. Although I suppose we didn't get into heavy floating head and speech bubble territory until later issues.

Also I wonder will he steal from Rosechu's Story.

 

He most likely will do both.

 

She asked for my permission to do so first, but yes, she wants to use some of the stuff from my comic. From what I understand, book 15 is going to be something like an extended cut of the original Sonichu #0, more about additions to the story rather than changes. She also said she won't straight copy/paste everything, and also I'm supposed to be cited as the inspiration... somewhere (in the comic pages? in a blog post maybe? not sure).

She's also offered to draw the cover for one of my chapters, which is really nice of her.
