I feel like someone might be doing something behind the scenes.

I am willing to bet it is someone involved with Praetor. This seems exactly up their alley of trying to be funny and failing completely at it.

 

This "Praetor" group didn't get the memo that "Classic Chris" is not coming back.

 

Oh, yeah, that somebody is elbow-deep inside Chris' puppet ass is pretty much a given, as always, and those Praetor mongs are the most likely option.

That's the thing that baffles me about them being interested in Chris. They were all little kids in the golden age, why are they so invested?

Classic Chris was never real. He's inert most of the time without someone writing a storyline for him.

 

Chris really was the funniest when he wasn't being hassled by trolls, even during the "classic" era. His one-sided feud with Mary Lee Walsh, the Parappa contest meltdown, the various run-ins with mall security, and the insanity of the Sonichu comic (prior to Sonic 8) had no involvement from trolls*, and were the funniest things he's done.

*Just a reminder that Mary Lee Walsh, Michael Snyder, and Adam Stackhouse weren't even trying to be trolls. the former two were just doing their jobs, while Adam just happened to enter the same contest as Chris and won by simply being more talented.

With the exception of the Dimensional Merge, the best and most insane Chris moments had nothing to do with trolls.

I've seen it asserted that trolls manipulated him into the incest affair, as if Chris needs help bringing out the crazy in him.
