It's only natural for somebody to try and use a phenomenon to promote themselves, but in the way Waterbottle does it...he really does just come off as a ween. There's being associated with Chris yet still holding your own achievements (read: Liquid Chris going on to be a doctor) and then there's basing your entire schtick around "trolling" Chris without doing much else outside of that (and no, I don't count that fanfic because writing two chapters of a fanfic over the course of several years is more pathetic than notable).

So what's the deal with Waterman? All I really know about him is that he tries to get Chris to notice him.

 

This is waterman whole purpose on life, and the only thing somebody needs to know about him tbh.

 

I think he thinks he's an epic troll in making but in reality, he's just an uninteresting version of Chris. Aka one that spergs about some shit but leads a normal life

 

Basically, this. He's a complete and total goober, but he constantly plays it off that he's "TOTES TROLLING CHRIS!" in hopes that people will believe him.

Waterman was so salty over getting banned from some Commander Keen blog that he paid Chris $100 to produce a Sonichu story that had a single page for begging the mod to unban him.

That's fucking stupid.

Even after Chris publicly mocked him in the comic pages he had commissioned, Waterman is still giving money to him.

 

When Chris winds up looking like the smarter person in a scenario, you know you're fucked.

 

So, is anyone interested to see what would happen if Waterman were put in the new comics? I could see him being neither a hero nor a villain, but just somebody whose mediocrity is there to make both heroes and villains look good. He could be like the Jerry Smith of CWCville.

 

Banasaur was basically Waterman. Even Chris thought the idea was dumb and quickly put him on a bus.

 

Bananasaur was so retarded looking that I just scrolled past anything with him in it. It takes something extra-special to stand out in a Sonichu comic like that.

 

I didn't even know he existed (I skipped Sonichu 11). Holy crap, an "expert rad gamer"? That fucking 90's lingo.
