They had some crosses left over from the last crucifixion but they aren't big enough so they gotta make another one.

If this is true, Chris is at least getting nailed.

So I guess it's going to be awhile until there's a resolution of some kind.

If the grand jury approves the case (which to me seems likely) it will go froward as a felony case.

Does anyone know if they can still hold them in jail while the trial is pending once the year is up?

I can only assume the grand jury is deciding that right now.

When can we expect the paperwork?

Grand jurys can make decisions pretty quickly from what I've read one day is a long time for a grand jury. The grand jury might just be shown the recording and a brief description of the facts. Also no defense attorney can be presence.

The Case of Fail took about a year to finish.

    (maybe longer)

I'm assuming the judge made a ruling that the case is more serious than he can decide in his jurisdiction
so now it's going to a grand jury to see if he can be charged with more serious crimes
    yeah, he's screwed

If Chris's life was a pitcher, he'd be throwing nothing but curve balls.

so Chris may have been in the jail of fail for a year and now we're going to find out what he's actually charged with (when the grand jury decides what to charge him with)

What's a soccer analogy? A goalie who keeps missing the ball?

Competitive bullet-catching is the better sport analogy, anyway.
