    Even as redacted as recent letters have been, Chris is as ecclesiastical and above-it-all as a reincarnate Jesus can be, which lends some credence to his recent statement that it's all settled but for the banging of the gavel: some sort of probation, some sort of distance from Barb. If it were up in the air, the tension would betray itself.

    In other words, there probably ain't gonna be any surprises that'll cost Aaron Sorkin a night's rest tossing and turning in envy.
