What would've happened if Chris stuck with marketing and never invented "Sonichu" - because the teacher gave in and let him use corporate-made characters on that CD cover project?

 

Here's one I just thought of.

What if the internet had discovered Jacob Sockness in the early 2000's and Chris became a notable figure around 2019 due to his association with Jacob?

 

This site may have been called the Socki Society*?

What If Geno's documentary never existed? Let's say there were other documentaries about Chris such as Down the Rabbit Hole and maybe TheGamerFromMars. However, there is no 60+ part comprehensive documentary about him. Would this have lessened the number of weens and perhaps protected Chris from some of the more severe trolling schemes in late Christory? (Notably, both Sockness and Bella discovered Chris through Geno).

Since the documentary was only updated to 2009-10 for so long, that led to many weens thinking they could be the next Clyde Cash. DTRH never mentions his name once. It doesn't go into much detail about the trolls and what they did. Would people be less inclined to mess with him if they didn't know the specifics?

 

Then people would have to actually read the CWCki if they wanted to learn about the crazy. So I guess there really would not be as many weens trying to be "the next Clyde Cash" or "bring Classic Chris back".

I'm Gen Z, but I see your point. Probably would gatekeep some of the less creative weens - but the more determined ones could still get through. (*cough* Michael Hirtes)

I'm still amazed that Hirtes is in his FIFTIES. I'm just imagining my dad, who is about the same age, NOT going to work, living off a tugboat and spending his days locked inside tweeting profanities at a mentally ill man. How pathetic.

 

And Kengle is over 60, yet he's trying to ween Chris and be "Internet Famous" with "Sonichen and Rosechen"...

 

What if Chris lived in feudal Japan?

 

There would be a legend of him being sacrificed to stop the spread of his stupidity.

 

If he was a foreigner, he'd be lucky it was before the Edo period when Japan closed off to foreigners - unless he lived at that one Portuguese trading post.

If he was born there, he likely wouldn't be so deranged or perverted because there was no internet, no "Idea Guys", no one telling him he's "special" if he still had autism (so he'd be expected to act "normal" then), no media promoting the idea that "cartoons are real in another dimension", and no TV to fry his brain. And no Borb. So he could still be stupid but still not really freakish. Also he likely wouldn't be monstrously obese. Then again, there'd be no CWC now, so this forum may not exist then. Or at least it wouldn't be called the CWCki Club then.

Life during agrarian times could easily be "nasty, brutish, ans short" - nasty because lack of sanitation with crowded conditions involving farm animals, brutish because of all that warfare as well as torture and severe corporal punishment being tolerated, and of course short because of lack of medical knowledge combined with the previous 2. Not to mention farm life then could be as hard as "Classic Chris" thought yard work was.

 

What I've heard is that a baby born in the Middle Ages only had a 50/50 chance of surviving to its FIRST BIRTHDAY. I doubt Chris would have been one of the lucky ones.

 

I think I read that the odds of an average baby growing to adulthood was 25%?

I think the older a kid got, the better chance they had at growing up (babies are more vulnerable).

 

What if Chris was born in Bible times?

I think there were a lot of people back then pretending to be Christ shortly after the life of Christ.
