Sonichu looks like it was generated by an AI that doesn't really understand Earthlings that well.

The art looks like something out of that AI art thread @One Too Many started, and the writing is like AI-generated word salads.

Okay, since @Cyan asked about this, I guess it's time to let the cat out of the bag: this creepy fetish shit was all the result of ween troll Jessica Quinn telling Chris that she has a weight gain fetish, and Chris responded by inserting this kind of shit into his own comic in an attempt to woo her into a sweetheart from the ground up. The biggest takeaway from this is that Jessica's idea of "epic trolling" basically involves outing herself as a furry with a weight gain fetish*.
(*Yeah, I know, pot calling the kettle black and all that jazz.)

 

Alright, so I just finished catching up with this thread and wow, what a journey so far. A few things I have to say:

• Is it just me, or has Chris gotten slightly better at drawing sanic-style hedgehogs? I mean, it's not good, but compared to previous issues, I think this is marginally better.
• Sonichu is kinda fuckin' boring. There are so mamy goddamn textwalls it's absurd. I wonder what Chris was thinking when he decided to write all of that.
• We've gone from Chris and his recolors's psychotic war with trolls and astounding displays of ego to a boring slice of life story (albiet with no less ego than before)
• The thing about the Asperpedia four's executions in Sonichu 10 that really amazes me isn't that Chris thought of it, or even that he drew it. It's that he decided to put it in the comic and upload it online for everyone to see. That's not a spur of the moment fit of rage anymore. It was premeditated.
• Hottest take of the century, but the Sonees and Rosees aren't the worst thing ever. I don't see how they're any more obnoxious than any other Sonichu character, and they just look so stupid and Chris draws them so shittily I can't help but find it amusing. LOOK AT THAT FACE GODDAMN
• Sonichu 8 or 10 might be my favorite. They're so batshit insane and they're really fun to marvel at the fact that an actual human made them.
• It's weird that people gloss over Chris drawing porn of Mary Lee Walsh, because... well, fucking think about it for a minute.
• Robbee's internal monologue in "To be or Naught a Tomgirl" kinda reminds me of the bit in Frankenstein where the monster talks about how he learned human interaction.
• It's odd for Fauna Fox to not want pony shit in their search history when they frequent the [REDACTED] thread.

The comic started as an actual comic with less dialog, but drawing takes more work - and Chris prefers "tell, don't show" storytelling.

Oh dear God! Rosechu in the first panel in page 106 made me think of classic era snorlax Barb, and just...

 

You know, Chris's choice (all sonichu characters are extensions of Chris) to have Rosechu saved over himself is pretty mystifying, given his ego and willingness to have his characters worship him like a god. Perhaps Chris thinks that libido is so powerful, it can always overpower good sense and cause someone to throw away everything else they have for sex true love. It almost seems... really self aware, in hindsight.

 

Spoiler: Episode 24, part 2, part 10

Rosechu and Cera drop the weight, but in the process, Layla became so fat that she's no longer able to walk, only being able to move via tug wagon attached to Reginald's motor scooter that he now suddenly has. This is their last appearances, so I'm assuming they died, first Layla going the Chance Carmichael way of death, followed by Reginald getting crushed and suffocating under her weight while he was force feeding her.
(P.S.: Sonic drops a hint that Amy gets morbidly obese herself every now and then; I guess Chris saw those fetish pics on sites like DeviantArt and Furaffinity and thought they were actually canon to Sonic the Hedgehog.)

Also the way Chris draws eyes looks "SOO" freakish. At least in this part. Reminds me of that "totem of fail" he once made.

seriously, this is the "episode" of Sonichu I hated reading the most, so it feels so good to be freed from Chris Chan's creepy insano fetish art!

 

It's getting really annoying how Chris just chaotically throws out dialog bubbles of endless "WORDS WORDS WORDS WORDS WORDS", and then numbers them with Roman numerals.

Chris is like "hmm yeah you figure it out" when he does that.
