I think Chris drew Kacey's dad like that before the Father Call.

Otherwise Kacey's dad would be a villain because he committed the "grave sin" of offending Chris' bloated ego.

 

It's time to stop beating around the bush, and get on with Sonichu 9 (the 10th issue). This one features Chris's stupid date ed idea, introduced yet another Gary Stu stand in for Chris, and comic Chris gets out of the time void (which will lead to the biggest ego trip in the entire Sonichu canon), meaning Sonichu ultimately had two issues to himself during this time, at most

Yeah, call it a hunch, but I don't think Chris Chan ever figured out that stuff like dating can't really be taught, and that for the most part these kind of relationships form in various unique ways, not through a singular rigid routine that would be taught by such a class.

 

Chris doesn't know how to get into a relationship because of crippling autism - and he has a fairly warped view of relationships - so he projects that on everyone because autism and thinks everyone needs a class to figure out something that's been done for millennia before school was even a thing.

Also can you imagine if you wanted to take "Date Ed" for some reason, and when you showed up on the first day, you saw that much of the class are these freakish multicolored hedgehog furries?

 

"date ed" might not exist per se, but there are social skills classes for people who have psych conditions that affect social skills
IIRC Chris took something like that when he was in high school special ed classes, but he may have slept through the classes or read Goosebumps instead

I nearly fainted from shock just from a quick glance at page 4. Not just because of the massive wall of text, but because of the sneaking suspicion that things are going to get a whole lot wordier here in the worst way possible.
(Also, Barbara dolls for the men. So many inappropriate and disgusting jokes I can make about that, but I will reframe from it, because I'd rather not have that mental image in my head.)

 

There are "pickup artists" ("PUA") seminars, which I hear never work.

Also, why the fuck do they have to converse exclusively through the computer instead of meeting each other face to face? You would think, with all the times he got trolled by people online claiming that they're some kind of hot supermodel seeking a boyfriend, that Chris would have known that that method is a very bad idea. But then again, that would be seriously underestimating his gullibility.

 

In the VivanG audiobooks, the narrator used a booming echoing voice to read that dialog.
