It doesn't sound that appealing to me somehow.

(not everything '90s is appealing to me BTW)

It's a mix of murder mystery drama and David Lynch weirdness.
TBH, trying to explain what happens in Twin Peaks kind of feels like describing a dream, where you may think that you understand it, yet at the same time, you don't believe you truly know exactly what your watching.

That description has me intrigued. It reminds me how I say Trailer Park Boys is Ed Edd N Eddy for grownups

Been revisiting some videos that dive in to the current conflict between Russian and Ukraine. Graanted it's just these two videos.

Aside from these and watching a guy that does quick shorts on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, I haven't even kept up much on the conflict but I feel that as of late with a Ukraine missle hitting Ukraine territory, Russia adjacent shills could come in to say how Ukraine is a bad guy without even entertaining the idea of it being an accident.

It'll have to eventually when either side gives out. Ukraine could look likely to others the moment other countries withdraw support though for Russia, what would be needed is something like a war of attrition unless they get enough support from some other power like China in being supplied materials needed to make weapons. Personally, I'd want Ukraine to win simply because their sovereignty is getting fucked over. All that's needed is someone going "but America invaded Iraq yet supports Ukraine" despite that being a U.S. invasion that's 20 years old and knowing how much of a horrible shit show that was in screwing over the Iraqi people regardless, and this comes from a guy who supports his own family members in the US military.

Imagine making a company and running it since the 70's until you have to let someone take the reigns. Now imagine you give it to your son and he manages to fuck it all up through fraud and being a complete ass to those under him so badly that you resign.

I can't recall the last time I watched broadcast TV regularly, much less what I watched on it. I think it was something about the invention of the telescope, sometime before that DTV switch?

Internet video and offline stuff like DVD has replaced broadcast TV to me.

I was watching "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" recently (we count movies in this thread too, right?), and I have to say, Hollywood going full Pooh's Adventures with crap like Space Jam 2 and Chip N' Dale has made me appreciate Roger Rabbit even more.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is, at its core, a film noir with a cartoon twist to it, and it does a pretty good job at being a film noir with said twist. The cartoon cameos were simply a nice bonus, and not just a desperate corporate attempt to sell their products through advertising disguised as bad movies.

    That sucked.

That's the movie that eventually led to the belief in the "Dimensional Merge" in a certain lolcow.

    Anyway I don't think it's a bad movie though.

It was pretty much were the one time you'd see Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse be in the same movie for a brief moment that wasn't some sort of fan service of any kind but an actual use of a joke. That and making a squeaky voice villain be an actual threat. Seriously, how often do you get a work where a villain with a funny voice manages to be a competent and dangerous villain? I can only list Roger Rabbit and Thief 2 as examples.

    As what I'm watching:

It's always fun in my eyes to see a tech Youtuber try their hands at shit built computers.

I WAS watching She-Hulk to see if it's as bad as everyone says.

It is. It's so bad. I made it to "the speech", and then turned it the fuck off. Can somebody do the MIB thing to make me forget I ever watched it lol?
