    This may be interesting. I grew up a Nintendo kid and still mostly play Nintendo games, but only a couple bring me nostalgia to this day and never fail to bring back fond memories.

    Pokemon Pearl was admittedly my first pokemon game and therefore favorite for nostalgic reasons, also being my second DS game I'd ever owned. I still have a shiny luxray from the game, transferred all the way to the current gen in the game series.

    A secondary favorite from when I was little would be The Legendary Starfy, but that seems to have completely died out. It was a cute game, though.

    Half-Life 1 for my fucking old ass Windows PC. I have beaten that game 20 times and to this day still love it like old times

    plus that kick ass soundtrack

    See, the answer for me is also Pokemon, except for me it's Blue and Crystal that are my main sources of nostalgia. So now I just feel old.

    Granted my reason for Pearl being my source of nostalgia was because my parents did all they could to prevent me from using electronics as long as they could. I could've had FireRed on gameboy.

    Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow are pretty influential to me growing up, but Silver is my all time favourite. Feraligatr is my main man.

    Other games that I've enjoyed growing up are Godzilla (as well as King of the Monsters), Diablo, Spyro the Dragon, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Myst, and Bubsy 3D (don't judge, please).

    Sonic Heroes probably has the most nostalgia for me, but in terms of hours played, Sonic Adventure DX.

    Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver, definitely. Although other favorites include every Sonic game up until Sonic Adventure 2, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 2, Yoshi's Story, Smash Brothers (actually pretty much any big title for N64), Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, oh, and of course, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

    EDIT: Forgot Harvest Moon. That game was based af.
