People always get the terminology for a controlling mother of the bride and counterpart to bridezilla, she isn't a "momzilla" she is a "Momthra" and it isn't "groomzilla" it is "Groomera" get it right

 

The Mothra poster kicks so much ass.

 

I found this Godzilla picture at Hobby Lobby for forty percent off for the game room that I used with a gift card. Also, there are Godzilla squishmallows available.

Don't you love these little nuggets? I especially love the expression of the Godzilla one (you can't see it but he has a tail in the back)

 

What if Godzilla was a hivemind swarm of a bunch of smaller lizards instead of an unrealistic huge one?

Next week I should be getting my blu ray of the entire Mothra spin off trilogy for ten dollars

Also, as of a few days ago I officially watched all the the Gamera movies made so far. I wasn't a big fan of the Heisei era Gamera movies, they are way too serious and while they are good as kaiju flicks, they just don't have the stuff that makes Gamera different from Godzilla, they just feel too similar to the Heisei era Godzilla movies that were being made at the time which I don't think is good.

I did like most recent one, Gamera the Brave, the most recent one. While it wasn't as obnoxiously goofy as the Showa era stuff and probably for the better, it did have Gamera being friend to all children again and I did think it was really, really sweet when all of the kids in the city banded together to help bring the pearl to Gamera to help him power up.

 

Also a Zerg Ultralisk is pretty much a kaiju, although one is "only" around the size of a tank.

 

Saw the original, subbed, uncut first Godzilla movie. It is a bit different than what people outside of Japan got where they added some white guy into the cut to appeal to Western audiences more. Definitely wouldn't recommend watching it first as a first foray into Godzilla, but definitely worth watching once you have a few movies under your belt.

 

Hell yeah I’m watching Gamera vs Barugon this movie rules.

 

I have two more Showa era movies to watch then I am done with that. I also started watching the anime movie trilogy and I will say that from what I have watched from the first 40 minutes of the first one, it isn't half bad. The main protagonist though is really wangsty, but I do like the concept and unlike the Singular Point anime, the techno babble isn't so incoherent and important to the story that it inhibits my enjoyment. I will watch the rest of the first movie later and the other two later this week.

 

Watching Gamera vs Gaos. So far it’s about a land dispute over some highway the city want to build. Riveting.

 

Hell yeah Gamera is roasting Gaos with his fire breath this movie rules.

 

You should watch the Heisei era Gamera movies, Gamera the Brave the most recent one is really nice and heartwarming.

Also, I am almost done with all of the Showa era Godzilla movies good and bad. I just have to watch Son of Godzilla, I got to the 45 minute mark then I got distracted. After that, I am watching the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy

I can't remember where I mentioned this, but Sony is losing the home video rights to a lot of the Heisei and Millennium era Godzilla movies this year so the Blu Rays are going to go out of print spike up in price so get them while you still can because they are 10 dollars a pop right now on Amazon and you get two movies for each Blu Ray which is a steal. I got all of the Millennium era movies plus the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy and what they had of the Heisei movies still in print for like, 70 dollars which isn't bad since it works out to like, five dollars a movie.

 

Hell yeah, Gaos is fucking up a subway, I love when they attack subways.

 

They also always attack Tokyo Tower, like, it is a rite of passage for all Kaiju and after every movie they always build it back up

 

Watching the anime Godzilla trilogy on Netflix and geez, the main human protagonist is a whiny little bitch that screams a lot, like, dude, control your volume, people can hear you just fine. No wonder people don't like this movie (another complaint is that it goes on for too long much like The Hobbit)

The world building is interesting, I like the Mothra people. I am half way through the second movie.
