Sorbet is an inspiration to us all. Surviving in one of the deadliest environments known on our planet- 14 Branchland Court.

Like the CWCki said, those mismatched pupils could be a sign of traumatic brain injury. Sorbet may not be out of the woods yet...

I've seen it speculated that Chris might be hurting the cat for the incoming online ass-pats when he social media broadcasts his taking care of the injuries after the fact when the damaged paw happened about, what, six months ago?

I hope not, but either Sorbet is a cat who gives zero fucks for its own safety or alternatively, any more incidents will now make me suspicious that the previously unfathomable theory is the actual case.

the swollen eye and bruise suggest the cat caught a massive blow to the head when the car hit him. That cat's never going to be the same.

If I could, I'd adopt that cat purely to get him into a better environment than that diseased hell hole. 14 Branch Court has to be a nest of waiting infections.

Well with a cat currently at the vet I can certainly feel happy for Chris this one time.

I don't think Chris would sink that low. If he did and it got leaked I think some insane fans would take it seriously and give 14 BLc a second kruiging.

I honestly think, Chris is just a poor owner, he got a wounded cat for ass pats. That I don't see as far fetched, and not in a bad way he got a cat because he can't think well or plot, so he saw ouchie kittie and then it clicked ass pats!! money!! I assume Chris left a door open and cat got out because who wouldn't escape that hell? And sadly in it's dire want to escape the hoard didn't look both ways (also jokes aside house cats are fucking awful with the concept of traffic. I say as a 25+ year cat owner) In a day or so, it'll click while Chris is probably honestly upset, he will soon see the link of sorbet being hurt and ass pats and money.

I'm very worried about this cat and I'm skeptical that Chris even brought him to the vet at all.

If he took the cat to the vet, they would have done x-rays to determine if there were any broken bones. To do this, he would have been anesthetized. Most vets will also take this chance to clean any open wounds, clean up any blood on the cat's body, cut his nails, shave spots for an IV if necessary, etc. The fact that Sorbet still has dried blood on his eyes and under his nose is very worrying. Cats have incredibly sensitive noses, rely heavily on their sense of smell, and do most of the breathing nasally. Having their noses even slightly blocked or irritated can be incredibly stressful to them. Cleaning the blood of his nose should have been one of the first things the vet did when they put Sorbet under.

If you look at the photo of Sorbet on the cwcki you'll see his nose is a nice light pinkish color and sticks out a little bit. In the new photo of Sorbet, his nose is completely black and even looks pushed in.

Something is very wrong here. And like others have said, mismatched pupils are a sign of brain trauma. The fact that Chris didn't mention this at all is very weird.

On one hand, I don't think Chris would be that heartless to ignore the problem and not take Sorbet to the vet. On the other hand, most vets are incredibly passionate about taking care of the animals they treat and everything I'm seeing is just raising so many red flags for me. Either Chris is lying or this vet did a terrible job.

I feel so bad for this poor cat.

  11. Goddammit, if Sorbet dies because of Chris' neglect I'm going to be pissed.

Because shit posting is really important to me, I did take your word but to confirm, I dated a vet and yes. What you said, is SOP.

I feel very torn as Chris would beg for money or something? Our best guess was an SCPA.

Now to hopeful, Sorbet bled again after release, but hopefully vet would see internal wounds. I think I'm gonna pretend this doesn't happen cuddle my kitty and pour some Macallan 15 in Sorbets honor. :(

Chris loves his pets, and even if he isn't the best owner he's definitely not hurt one of them intentionally. He's also nearly retarded, so he's unlikely to give a particularly good account of what the vet said.

E-diagnosing anything is pretty much always going to turn into hand-wringing and worst-case scenario wishcasting.

Chris almost definitely took the cat to the vet, and if it dies it'll have more to do with being hit by a car than with anything Chris did. Sometimes shitty things just happen.

I don't think he had an ulterior motive. He adopted the cat because Sorbet and his family had been hanging around 14 BC, and he noticed that Sorbet had an injured paw and took him in after that. He has other cats, too.

He allowed Sorbet to go outdoors.

I haven't had a cat for a while (and thankfully mine never had to go through this), so I'm curious about actual "post-treatment" procedures for this kind of situtation. Like @IGotAFish pointed out, I'm dubious that, if Sorbet was "energetic as usual" like Chris says, the vet wouldn't anesthetize him to treat his injuries, let alone leaving dried blood around his eyes and nose after care.

It pains me to see Chris's universal incompetence affect other living beings like this.

    Godspeed, Sorbet.

Anyone who says that Chris deliberately allowed Sorbet to be hurt, is simply allowing their own malice and ill will towards Chris, to override any common sense they have(if they have any in the first place that is)

It's a miracle Sorbet didn't die. Chris you idiot learn how to properly take care of your pets. Once Barb snuffs it they'll all he'll have left.
