Dahir Insaat is a Russian Turkish company that, as far as I can tell, pitches design concepts for capital investors. The thing about Dahir Insaat is that everything they propose is indescribably impractical bordering on impossible to implement or even build. They have a YouTube channel with all their pitch videos rendering in stunning 3D.

Here are a few of my favorite:

Didn't Retsupurae make commentaries over these?

Anyway, it's easy to believe that Dahir Insaat is incompetent, as their pitches while look good on paper and would make for quirky concepts in fiction would as you say be borderline impossible to actually use. The military weapons disguised as civilian trucks is especially heinous as that one's not only impossible, but illegal as well, for it is against the Geneva Convention to disguise a militant as a civilian; as doing so encourages both sides to fire upon civilians believing they are troops in disguise.

However I've heard it theorized that the company is a scam and makes off the wall ideas no one would ever build so that they won't get contracted for such things. So how does it make money then? The idea is to come up with ideas specific enough to not be built, but vague enough so that they can point to companies building anything similar and say "Hey, that's our idea! Pay us for the patent or we're going to court!", while asking for just enough so that going to court (Even if the other party wins) would be more expensive.

There are a lot of scam companies that just patent fucking everything hoping to catch a more sincere business in a trap, it's a depressingly common tactic and a reason why I hate capitalism and the idea of copyright in general.

I have no proof this is what the company is doing, and they say you're more likely to be correct if you blame stupidity rather than malice, but I figured I should voice the hypothesis.
