Indeed. If Barb's debt is a lot worse than his as has been reported, he'll be in good shape when he's got the house to himself. With a little guidance he should be really stable, and I can't imagine there will be a shortage of offered help for an autistic living alone. At that point even Cole might lend a hand just to help him with financial stuff out of family obligation. Chris has never been a fan of the hoard so even that may improve once Snorlax takes her final nap and ceases blocking the path for good.

 

In Barb's defense, she's the absolute budget keeper. Chris does indeed appear reasonable with his own finances, but keep in mind Barb is still managing the household itself. Whether that be through food, car expenses, upkeep/utility, or dog care (poorly). Barb surly struggled transitioning the first year or so without Bob there. But she's adapted and is now carrying a lot more weight than Chris at the moment. Chris has never been plopped into that deep of sole financial responsibility. He's never even been alone. Ever.

The Snorlax horde aside, things will get far worse with Chris alone before they get better.

 

Yeah, I seem to remember him responding to Kim more but he pretty much ignores her now that most of her comments are more confrontational. I think his threshold for Hurtful Truth Level has diminished to the point where it encompasses all truth.
