I think the threads getting a little derailed here.

 

There's really only so much you can say about the whole thing:
"Yeah, Bluespike went to far. He was a dumb 13 year old. He got memorable content out of Chris, but overall he was nuts."

Can't really say much more then that.

 

Well, here's something I can say about the whole ordeal that no one else has said.

He was also responsible for annoying weens call Chris just to yell "Julllaaay!", so there's also that going against him.

 

Bluespike wanted to force lulz instead of trying to get Chris to make a clown of himself.

 

Another point i can fully agree with.

 

Lulz isn't the only thing he tried to force.

 

Rule of thumb: when someone coerces someone else to shove something in their asshole under duress, then, yes, they've probably gone too far.

 

How do you guys do the Christorical Figure thing? Do you actually go through some kind of process to verify it, or do you just give the tag to whoever wants it?

This is kinda strange, considering they have a No gimmick posting / No pretending to be other people rule that even forced cherished user Hulk Hogan to change his username and quit his usual BROTHER gimmick.

 

I thought Hulkster was the one exception.

I recall the mods saying he could keep his gimmick because he didn't go overboard with it, or something to that effect.

 

It's Kiwi Farms, they were always known for the way that they would have exceptions to certain rules. Personally, I think that if Null found someone/something entertaining, and the someone/something didn't lead to people mocking the site because of it on 8Chan and other sites, then he would let it slide. If a number of people on 8Chan, or other parts of the trolling community, started to mock Kiwi Farms because of it, he would take action on the site.

A couple of exceptions (as far as I'm aware at least) are CatParty and a number of larger threads that grew big enough and entrenched in the site that Null couldn't really delete or lock them without pissing off a number of users. If I remember right, Null used to have a lot of people complain about CatParty and demand that he ban him from the site. I forget what Null's defence was exactly, but I think it was something like "When he's not shitposting, he does good things for the site."

 

I'd say about 99 percent of the people who complained about CatParty were either:
a) Weens/tards that CatParty made fun of because they weened/tarded to much and were called out on it
b) Lolcows who didn't like being trolled by CatParty (Remember how the SlutHaters wanted to basically murder CatParty?)

 

So if you want to be a Christorical Figure, take one for the team and dig in his garbage. You'll be highly praised for a year before everyone comes to their senses.
