I think this is why he doesn't mind being married to Magi-Chan, he sees the marriage as more ceremonial than an actual romantic pairing. Yes I know Magi-Chan isn't real, but Chris doesn't know that despite creating him.

Yes he does, he sees the marriage to Magi-Chan as less "I wanna fuck Magi-Chan", but more... a ceremonial pairing of people required to fulfill the sacred Dimensional Merge prophecy with marriage as a "Framing Device"

Ya know how in the 90's and 2000's a lot of media sold the idea that certain same-sex characters were "Just good friends", when it was blatantly obvious that they were homosexuals that the FCC and Executive Producers threw a "DON'T SAY GAY!" warning onto for the writers to follow? Heck, the first Harvest Moon to allow gay marriage framed it in the US as a "Best Friend Ceremony!", even though it's obvious best friends don't have a ceremony officiating it, live in the same house, and use pet names to refer to one another.... (God the Gay Panic was cringe)

Chris-Chan and Magi-Chan getting married is kind of the reverse of this, it's more a symbolic union of Magi-Chan being Chris' right friend and most trusted confidant, even moreso than Sonichu... or to be blunt, he said "Marriage" when he actually DID mean something closer to what Harvest Moon's localizer Natsume swore up and down the "Totally Not Gay" Best Friend Ceremony was.

This is a combination of him trying to fit in Idea Guys material into his paradigm under his own terms, mixed with Chris being absolute garbage with the English language. (He likely doesn't know a word for Magi-Chan's connection to him that isn't "husband"

tl;dr - Chris' mind is warped and we know he doesn't "love" anything, with the closest he can approximate to that sensation being pure lust... and since Chris doesn't find the male form attraction nor has he ever tried to sexualize Magi-Chan, we can easily see how I came to the conclusion of Chris' marriage to an entirely non-existent, yet masculine, person being a complete sham. To be honest, I'm not sure he actually gets sexually attraction to anything so much as he thinks he's supposed to like women due to a child's media-addicted understanding of the world, but that's another debate entirely. (I mean without being attracted to men he went around kissing them, simply because "That's what an anime girl is supposed to do" and there was the unfortunate period of time he regularly pissed himself on purpose because the idea guys convinced him "That's what a hedgehog is suppsoed to do."

Chris will eventually sell orange fanta mixed with his jizz, and the weens will buy that because they're gigantic dumbasses.

I feel like ALL of Chris’s emotions are this. Like he acts sad or angry based on how cartoon characters do it. It doesn’t feel legitimate but he doesn’t have a better way to express how he actually feels about things. It’s kinda sad that without being well adjusted, TV basically raised him.

 

Also he had no real friends in high school. Despite those girls being paid to hang out with him and going to that little kid birthday the 18th birthday, no one signed his yearbooks (for some reason he got 2 of them). But that situation being kind of sad stops being so when you see that he's an egotistical freak -- an egotistical freak who thinks friend means serving and worship.

 

He legitimately believes he's the main character in a story about a scrappy protagonist with the world against him, but it turns out he's special and that vindicates him. With it ending with him becoming the "Big Good" and giving his blessing to a new hero to lead the way, and that hero will be Sonichu.

I was upset about it too, but only because it didn't make any god damn sense. This is, in-universe, the movie that Andy saw that made him want the Buzz Lightyear toy so badly. Well not only does it ignore the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command show (Which is much better and was... already framed in the movie that kicked it ouff... as the first episode to the show that made Andy want a Buzz Lightyear)

If THIS is the movie Andy saw, then it's amazingly progressive for the early 90's and has amazingly good CGi for the time too. (Someone obviously ignored the instructions when writing the script.)

But to be fair, that's not why people were upset by the gayness, not that it was out of place for a period piece, but that it happened at all, because as a queer woman of transgender origins, my existence is sinful and I should pretend to be what society deems acceptable at all times... and now I understand why Elsa and Anna were basically lovers in Frozen, but they threw in that "sister" bullshit to pretend they totally weren't gay-coded. Because the world is not ready, they're still not over a woman being a Jedi in Star Wars. "Wahh, she's too overpowered, why can she fly the Millenium Falcon so well!?!?! Even though she literally loses or draws most of her lightsaber duels and did NOT fly the Falcon perfectly as she damaged it in the process."

Argh.. I hate Disney and I hate the "fans", they almost deserve each other.

Anyway moving on.

It reminds me of a behavior I used to exhibit. I was a pretty dang smart kid, but I'd often to pretend to like shows that were cheesy and terrible because "Kids like that kinda stuff", and would pretend not to know big words because "Kids don't know about that kinda stuff.", it lasted longer than you'd think.

However I grew out of it. Immediately it took awhile because I'm also autistic, and I was used to people getting mad at me for "not following the script" so to speak and I'd get in trouble not knowing what I did. Autism would need a couple years to become a household name, so everyone just thought I was some kind of demon child.. Even though I legitimately didn't know what I did wrong, because I didn't act maliciously and in many cases I misunderstood the situation to think I was being victimized. (Someone would say something, I'd say I didn't understand, they'd act like I was being smart with them... when I had no idea what the fuck they were talking about, I'd freak out because they snapped out me, and...... boom), simply because no one knew how to word things for a kid who doesn't "get" social cues. So that's part of why I started "following the script", until I realized embracing a sense of misanthropy, treating everyone with suspect unless they prove otherwise, and keeping to myself for the most part was easier and better for my mental health; it wasn't GOOD for my mental health, but healthier in comparison..In the way shooting yourself in the foot is healthier than cutting your leg veins out with a rusted kitchen knife. (God no wonder I was such an edgelord)

I guess Chris also learned to try to "follow the script" as a defense mechanism against this shit. He probably didn't develop the same hatred of the world that I did because he seems to really wanna follow a "Lawful Good" archetype, despite being Chaotic Evil... and I only stopped hating the world because I got help from friends and therapy. Chris has no friends and will never get therapy

tl;dr All of Chris' problems could have been prevented and outright solved if Bob and Barb got him help instead of assuming "Getting him mental health help" meant what it did back in the days of Borb's youth; when you just chained the spastic kid up in the attic and left a bucket of fish heads for him to munch on every other day, not out of malice, but because it's genuinely more humane than having them lobotomized in a nuthouse.

Okay sorry for triple posting, but I think Chris will consider it, causing him to brand it an elixir of life.... But the praetors will realize someone will report Chris for selling a biohazardous material and sending it through USPS and stop him.

 

I think more likely, since it's less effort for him is, Chris would opt to sell some overpriced limited edition tepid off brand orange soda, that's name is some sort of esoteric crude joke about "recycling".

Granted he'd have to depend completely on Praetor for that, because Chris doesn't know heads or tails about dealing with even the most bottom of the barrel sponsors who don't give a shit who they work with. Chris is a guy who you probably couldn't even get to sell a pack of Crystal Pepsi if his life depended on it. I have to admit though, I am somewhat morbidly curious what kinds of products Chris is going to sell to rip off gullible weens next.

 

Can you imagine having the egotistical delusion that some ordinary "split level" house in a suburb in a "census designated place" in Virginia is a "temple" and "holy"?

14 BLC looks like a set of a horror movie, which is quite fitting.

 

14BC looks like it could've been the house in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, if it wasn't set in Texas.

 

What really happened in 14BLC -- that which led to the "Jail of Fail" -- is the plot of a horror movie.

 

I would watch that movie.... In a timeline where "Innocent Childish Thing, but it's evil now" wasn't a massive cliche with shit like Sonic.EXE and Winnie The Pooh: Blood & Honey being around and terrible.

 

I'd say both, to be honest. I can easily imagine an exterior shot of 14BC being in the creepy intro to the original movie. The one that sets the tone of feeling a bit like a dusty old science class with all the bones you're seeing, but a lot more sinister. It wouldn't have looked out of place there, if it was renamed to "The Virginia Chainsaw Massacre".

I think Chris has always reminded me a lot more of Norman Bates or Buffalo Bill than Leatherface though. Post Tomgirl Saga Chris even looks a lot like Buffalo Bill.
