Sonichu You don't have to tell me twice!

    Wait a fucking minute.
The Totem buyer got a charge back (obviously) but Chris is STILL sending him the Totem? Out of some deluded fantasy that they'll send him the money after they get it?

If he really believes the Totem is worth over $1000 why would he just ship it off without getting payed first?
This seems to be ridiculous for even CWC standards

and then he'll bitch to Ebay, demanding to be paid, and Ebay will go 'your fault' and chris will not be able to accept his part in this debacle. The sky is blue, water is wet, and chris is doomed to failure.

This was pretty quick for the chargeback to happen I think. It sounds more like Chris didn't ship quick enough and the guy got a refund. I was expecting Chris to ship and whoever bought it to do a chargeback claiming he never got the item, which would've been shitty. Maybe ebay put a hold on the money until the buyer recieves the item? Ive never heard of that but I don't know why else he would still ship it out.

  4. Because Chris truly believes that this person is willing to spend 1.5k on the totem and, once they receive the item, will gladly hold up their end of the "bargain" and fork over the cash.

I was not aware that a person paid $1500 for medallions.

I think @king kong... with wings? is referring to how Chris poorly managed his finances back when he was selling medallions for $30 a pop. He'd spend all the money and basically didn't have any funds left over to ship them. And then he'd go on Facebook begging someone to buy a medallion so he'd have money to ship medallions. And on and on and on and on. I actually miss the times he offered commissions. It was fun seeing all the Kiwis sharing what bizarre scrawls they bought from Chris.

Clearly all these years of following Chris has caused my reading comprehension to deteriorate.

The buyer got the Totem and left positive feedback. A chargeback didn't happen - the buyer had filed a dispute because Chris failed to ship it out in a timely manner, but it's now resolved and Chris got the $1,500.

Also, he got a bit of negative feedback from one of his stamp sales.

It was ordered a month ago.

Aw fuck, I was hoping for Chris to go into financial meltdown. Now he's just going to splash out on Lego and Skylanders and continue with his stupid prices (which weens will no doubt pay for anyway).

HOWEVER, the Sonic Totem is in safe hands now and we might get some pictures/videos from the buyer which I suppose will fill up the CWCki page some more.

Barely, Chris said he was $1450 in the red, so even with the money returned, he is barely out of the red and he still has bills to pay this month.

I'm wondering if the buyer is an art collector speculating that Chris will kick the bucket soon and this "piece" (of crap) will be worth millions...

I'm expecting the other shoe to drop now that Chris' defenses have been lowered with the dispute being resolved in his favor. He'll never expect the upcoming charge-back claim that's going to be filled shortly. So, yes, Chris is dealing with a thief is what I think but I'll be fine with being proven wrong.
