The little girl yelping "IS IT THE TERRORISTS?!" after watching the Martian tripod vaporize people was just ... I don't know if I can come up with a word to express my disbelief at the moment.

If i could go back in time and un-watch 'Naked as We Came', I would do it in a heartbeat.

It's some trashy shlock about a miserable old hag who suddenly turns into a wise and loving person because of medical marijuana. There's also a bunch of contrived gay romance and some awkward sex scenes.

Unpopular opinion: Reepicheep gets all the glory, but Peepiceek was a better leader to his people.

The Care Bears movie scared the crap out of me as a tiny little kid; I felt like it was threatening children with society's collapse if we didn't love Care Bears enough. I don't think I've ever resented another movie quite so intensely!

    Nymphomaniac by Lars Von Trier.

What a fucking shit movie with terrible characters. They are like caricature of horrible people that only live in between horrible events. Plus the narrator is untrustworthy as fuck so who knows if any of the fucking tales she spun were like that.

Plus fuck the pretentious fuck who wrote the whole Fibbinoci fuck scenes. It's not deep or thought provoking, it's just cheesy writing.

I always thought that "Juno" and "Garden State" tried waaaaay too hard to be all quirky and indie.

So, my hatred for "Juno" comes from a very different place than Connor's....

I don't remember a lot about Juno at all. I watched the movie, but I didn't think it was anything special. I do remember not really liking the pregnant girl very much, and I remember not wanting to see it after seeing the movie poster because I thought it was going to be another movie that tried to be Borat or Napoleon Dynamite or those other low-budget indie comedies that I think were popular at the time.

In Canada we have Juno awards, which are kind of a big deal in the country. Inevitably, every year at around the time of the Juno awards I remember the movie poster which features the pregnant girl, because I can't remember much of anything about the actual movie.

So I hear the Beauty and the Beast remake was awful. I haven't seen it yet, but the while thing screamed "gimmick" the moment they cast Emma Watson as Belle.

It was fine. Pretty much a live action remake with a little more story depth and solid CGI.

Have people been saying it was awful? I got the impression that people were mostly saying "It's alright", not a failure, but it didn't exactly set the world on fire either.

I'm not much of a movie person and some films I seen would stretch back to a little under a decade ago. Still, as far as movies I hate or at least dislike go, I could say After Last Season. Only heard of it back when the Spoony One had content worth watching. The film has little to no budget. An example of that is the cardboard MRI machine. The plot is hard to follow since apparently it's about med students trying to catch a killer (who I swear resembles Chris Avellone, game dev who worked on all but the Bethesda and Interplay spin-offs of Fallout), and it had CGI that's very amateurish and more fitting for maybe the 90's. Spoony's commentary made it slightly bearable but even with that, the movie wasn't entertaining outside of Killer Chris Avellone having a box thrown at him by a man whose either invisible or psychic.

Dear god, that reminds me: there was a movie based off of Fred. I only saw a glimpse of it when I was helping a put together a couch. From what I saw, I can only wonder why anyone would make a movie off a YouTube channel aside from wanting money.

I can't see them making a profit unless their budget was low as fuck.

    Visually, the movie looked great

Acting/singing wise? Yeah, it's light years behind the animated version. Emma Watson, bless her heart, she tried her best, but she wasn't exactly hitting it out of the park.

From my experience, the people who are running the entertainment industry are pretty much like the guys in this clip.
