Liquid Chris really is a better Chris than Solid Chris.

 

Just got reminded of this by the conversation on another thread:

Bob seemed to know a good amount about the world and geography, at least as compared to Chris. With that in mind, why did he never question why Julay, a 'girl' from 'Molvania', was speaking fluent English in an American accent?

 

Does Chris still think his birth was a "miracle" in moments of clarity when delusions fail him?

 

Depends on just how clear those moments are.

 

To get the Life of Fail:

1: the elderly parents are from the time before the internet
2: the elderly parents likely have the kid while drunk
3: the kid gets the 'tism
4: the kid is raised by Uncle TV
5: the kid wins big in a sweepstakes just by watching TV
6: the parents coddle the kid too much
7: the kid is one of the first users of the internet
8: the kid grows up in semi-rural Virginia
9: the kid doesn't see much of the world beyond semi-rural Virginia

I think it's unlikely there'll be another like CWC.

 

It was a perfect storm. Most of the current-day lolcows that I'm familiar with might have a few similarities to Chris (usually the whole 'dependent on parents/tugboat' thing) but their worldview is very different.

Anyway, I have another question:
There was a previous comment on this thread about what kind of books Chris has access to in the jail library. The Bible was obvious, but I was thinking that statistically, there are probably a few copies of Fifty Shades of Grey in there too.
Has Chris read it?

 

It really is rather planet-aligning. If one were to make a case for a divine being that interacts with humans and their affairs, this might be it.

When you saw Chris in court, did he have an odd way of walking? Did he do stuff like mumbling or "stimming"?

Also how was he dressed back then?

 

Crazy how that lawyer summed up Chris's entire being into three words.

At this point it's more like a GOD making DIVINE proclamations.

 

During the Father Call, Chris defended still living at home in his late 20s by saying "to each their own individual growth rates". I think it's a common thing for parents of an autistic to tell the autist that "everyone grows at their own pace" - especially when the autist gets frustrated that their life isn't moving like that of a normal person. Borb must've told Chris that.

 

I think Barb wanted to keep Chris dependent on her to at least some extent.

 

Over on KF there was the "what if" of "What if Bob was still alive when Chris got arrested for fucking Barb?".

I think the incest would never have happened if Bob was still around. Chris would likely be far more sane too.

 

I always consider the 'Classic Era' of Christory to end with Bob's death as that was the event which really caused his mental health to go south and the trolls to withdraw from his life (for the next few years at least). Also, without Bob's disapproval he started dressing more feminine.

If Bob was alive today he would be pushing 100, and it's not like he was in much of a position before his death to really confront Chris. I'm sure he wanted to, but his age and weakness held him back.

Maybe respect for his father is what kept him out of doing it for the first few years after he died? When the goddess/merge delusions really took hold, though...

 

That's what I think too. "Christory" definitely changed then.

And yet there's weens who think they can revive "Classic Chris" and be "the next Clyde Cash"?

 

Probably because their only understanding of Chris is what Geno talked about in his documentary. Now that Geno is covering more recent events including the Idea Guys Saga, I hope they understand that he's not who he used to be.
