Meta Random Thoughts and Questions

I noticed that the only fictional media Chris really likes is stories set in the modern world (or a similar world), but with "cool subjects" like "magic" and robots. Chris hasn't really gotten into "speculative fiction" about very different worlds. I think a notable exception is MLP, but I don't know enough about the show to know for sure.

I guess Chris' limited mind doesn't wander far from what he knows IRL, and what he knows IRL is modern Virginia.

 

So Chris likes realistic down-to-earth shows that are totally off-the-wall and swarming with magic robots?

 

How would Chris handle being in market research?

(they may have to ask him to "please refrain from tasting the knob")

 

That's a best case scenario.

We all know if Chris were in a focus group he would try to change the entire show to his own liking, putting in self-insert after self-insert, before getting kicked out.

 

I know this is repulsive to think about, but how exactly do you guys... think it went down? I don't have any hard evidence for this, it's just based on what I know about Chris and Barb, but what I think is most likely is that Chris repeatedly "made moves towards" Barb, acted like a creepy fuck around her and maybe even groped her (God I want to take a shower) and eventually started pestering her for sex. I imagine Barb was worn down by this all and gave in. Chris, being the level 20 autism sorcerer he is, interpereted her reluctant "yes" as enthusiastic consent and doesn't know or care that he essentially groomed his mother into sex. Chris doesn't seem the type to me to outright force himself onto someone to me. Then again, he also didn't seem the type to do incest to begin with. I'm morbidly curious to know how Chris even executed such a "plan" in the first place.

 

Why did Chris never put Mike Snyder in the comic? He was #1 on Chris's shitlist for a while, and he's still pretty high up there to this day IIRC. It doesn't make much sense.

 

I wonder what Mike Snyder is up to now.

 

Chris was likely working on it at some point. And by that, Chris probably didn't even have much motivation or any to put that dang dirty manajerk whose totally a Jew into the comic.

 

Could Chris have "oppositional defiant disorder" along with autism?

Speaking of disorders Chris might have, is it possible he has undiagnosed and untreated ADHD? It would explain his apperent inability to get any work done or commit to things. I think it's likely that someone who displays this kind of behavior has some kind of dopamine regulation issue.

 

Autism can come along with other brain issues.

Chris' TV-fried brain could host an alphabet soup of disorders. Autism, ADD, OCD, ODD...

(it doesn't help that Borb were old enough to be grandparents when they "gave him the birth")

 

This is a thought I've had for a while.

Did Barb drink while she was pregnant with Chris?

 

Seeing as how Borb would go drinking a lot, it's possible.

Does Chris show signs of fetal alcohol syndrome?

 

He doesn't have any physical features which link to FAS, but it seems that there are varying degrees of the condition (like autism). It could have affected his development in early childhood.

But what do I know? I'm not a medical expert.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Barb spent a few rounds in the ring with an MMA fighter while pregnant.

In seriousness though, maybe he has 'mild' FAS, but Barb's age is probably enough to explain Chris's... state.

 

Someone on KF just said that he doesn't have a septum, and that's a core symptom.

So looks like Barb was "mother of the year" back then.

 

So on the same day Chris turns 40 Russia has officially invaded Ukraine.

Is this a sign?
