Played Silent Hill 2 Remake since the day before release because spending 10 extra bucks meant playing it earlier than release date on top of other things like having the soundtrack. As someone that wasn't invested in the series and had played and beaten the first and fourth games, I enjoyed 2 for what it had to offer.

 

Metaphor: ReFantazio. It's real good.

 

I still sometimes play SimEarth, even though it's ~34 years old now.

 

I ended up just trying to make an Oblivion mod for shits n giggles and wondering how some modders would get a custom race mod to work in their game compared to trying to recreate it independently. Needless to say, it all feels so borked because of the eye textures they used not working with vanilla stuff. Also went back into Starfield after a year of waiting. Slowdowns can still be a pain and some areas love to have floating furniture.

 

I've wasted the last few days of my life playing Elin, a prequel to a well-known Japanese roguelike Elona. Unlike the other games I played, this one actually ate up time in a way that I didn't realize how many hours I spent playing while enjoying a game. And unlike all the other games I played, the fact it reused Elona's main theme on the title screen felt like bringing tears to my eyes since I sunk a lot of hours into Elona before its servers were killed and I couldn't visit player made maps from Japan nor see what player was the latest to die and where they died at from what killed them. That and voting for players with aliases and names like "The Hero Link" and "Ray of Gay Jay" for a tax cut in the game.

i'm gonna be honest my only knowledge of elona is this sseth video so

 

I am playing otome games back to back. I am almost done with Genso Menege and I will play Battlefield Waltz next

Currently playing Battlefield Waltz. It is like Harry Potter but with knights

 

Fun game both of them but I will be honest on Elona, I can't even go back to it thanks to the game losing its servers years ago that allowed you to see player deaths in what location and what last words they left behind. That and voting for characters with names like "The Hero Link", "The Drunk Suika Ibuki," and my personal favorite "Ray of Gay Jay." Voting also got your character lower taxes in the game which was always nice to have.

 

Original Master of Orion (1993, updated version from 1994). Psilons, green team color. Up to one world per system. Definitely much simpler than Stellaris or some other recent space civ vidya.
