    Yes, and it's also where popeye arms Peach (excuse me, Toadstool) came from. Dobson's experience with Nintendo seems to stem entirely from DIC cartoons.
    Speaking of Peach, Dobson also doesn't seem to realize that she was always called that in Japan, and Nintendo of America decided to bring that name over here starting with Super Mario 64, and even then, they did tie the Toadstool/Peach in nicely; She's referred to by both names in that game.
    Of course, knowing this would actually require actual research and logic and not overly-emotional nostalgic bias, something Dobson can't seem to do.
