Q made TNG much better.

 

I watched the TNG episode "The Next Phase" where Geordi and Ro get cloaked and everyone thinks they're dead

I'm going to watch the final season of Picard. The first season was very mediocre and I couldn't even make it through the second season it was so bad. But, in the final one they are brining back the original TNG crew so I'll give it a shot.

 

Don't they make up that the Q aren't immortal after all in that series?

 

I think so...although I didn't watch more than a couple of episodes of the second season, I read a comment somewhere they decided that the Q

aren't immortal and ended up killing Q.

 

In my "headcanon", the ST "canon" is what it was before the JJ Abrams movies, aside from the animated series.

Then there's the other "canon" which is just TOS and TAS, or ST "canon" as it was before TMP came out in '79.

(and then there's the "official canon" which is the mess ST is now where the Q aren't quite as immortal then)
