Spergy Fan Wikis

What's more autistic than writing novels worth of shitty fanfiction? Creating a wiki for your favorite show/movie/media form. Here's some of my favorite, awful finds:

The wiki for Jem and The Holograms is another favorite. It's not too bad, but it reads like someone who never learned what a first draft is http://jem.wikia.com/wiki/Jem

The commander keen wiki is worth a look. While its mainly just spergy in that there is a whole wiki devoted to an old series of DOS games (that haven't had a proper release in the better part of 20 years), I hear the wiki drama here and on the Keen forums is nuclear grade Autism. I can get why some people would have nostalgia for commander keen, but the amount of infighting and fan-game promotion over there is staggering.

EDIT: Oh yah and Waterman comes from this area of the internet, I actually forgot why i knew about it when i made this post.

Bulbapedia's articles on the Pokemon anime. Overall, the wiki isn't bad, but go check out any episode from the anime and there's bound to be a long list of animation errors that only spergy people point out.

Here's one example of people caring too much about animation errors. It really shows that some people care too much about a crappy kid's cartoon.

 

We went from character shrines to character wikis, and I'm not sure which of those is worse...

 

Let's not forget the fan character wikis. Not focused on any actual canon material (as if the blonde waterbenders weren't a dead giveaway) but still spergy in their own right as fans try to out-special each other in addition to the canon characters.

Making a fan wiki is one thing. Making one devoted to your 20+ OCs? There is obviously a fluctuation in quality from article to article.

Bulbapedia has some pretty useless shit on it. Here is a list of pages about shipping, including a list of other lists of ships.

 

You'd think that the biggest wiki for a franchise as Big as Pokemon wouldn't allow it on their wiki, but sure enough...

I'm thinking Mods there must be either chill, really into shipping, or so overtaxed that they allow this kinda thing to go on.

Can I mention the prose that could be found in the Super Mario Wiki? They always crack me up.

After looking him up a little that does explain why Bulbapedia has its own shipping article, this guy considers himself a professional shipper. Whatever that means.
