    one of my favorite symphonies

my favorite part is looking in the comment section and seeing people post in many languages that they enjoy the music

It seems like classical music from the past is usually depressing and "meandering" or wandering.

    (to me anyway)

I am always a fan of Holst, his planets suite has always been a favorite of mine ever since I was six where we had a tradition at my Montessori school where we would pretend to be the solar system (I was Uranus!) and they would play The Planets suite. I think they added some of the dwarf planets to the roster after I graduated there. There was also kids who pretended to be comets who would run around. Those kids always ran into everyone, I am surprised nobody got seriously hurt.

in the CD I have of Holst's Planets, they have Pluto, which has a chorus with it
IIRC when the song was originally written, they only knew about the planets to Neptune

part of Jupiter was set to lyrics in World War I for the British patriotic song "I Vow, to Thee, My Country"

Honestly, the Pluto one was never official and I like to keep it that way since there is only eight planets again now.

Also, Thaxted is used also for a lot of Christian hymns like "O God Beyond all Praising" or "Three Days"

I hadn't heard of Three Days before, so thanks for posting that
there was music from Sibelius's Finlandia that had the lyrics from "Be Still, My Soul" set to it

the music for the hymn starts around 6:10

The classical music OST of Total Annihilation (an RTS vidya) is pretty good.
