    Show about a guy who totally isn't weakened by the one thing he's supposed to be defending the earth from. Thoughts?

    I remember when this first aired on TBS I think, probably syndicated to other stations across the country, I didn't care for it back in the first season when they had DiC worked on it since I expected the animation to be so-so, but I suppose it picked upt a lot more when Hanna-Barbera took over later on. At the time it's message was too hit-you-over-the-head for me so I didn't watch it much. Of course an episode that comes to my mind is the one dealing with Northern Ireland.

    Ahhhhh yeah, the show that set the trend for portraying enviromentally irresponsible corporations as deliberately evil and polluting on purpose for the fuck of it rather than the selfish, unaware, short-term thinking people they are IRL. That didn't really help much with the focus and the image of the fight for the environment IMO.

    Even that could have been salvageable if the main hero of the story wasn't such a flamboyant pansy.
