Hey it sounds like you're being a nice person here (don't remember what posts you in particular have posted) .

Some people have taken positively to it though, and I think I'm just going to go work with them.

But as far as I can tell there's been no real constructive feedback besides it being a bit too reference heavy. Which you know I'm trying to make this as short as possible, so I have to rely on references as shortcuts.

I really don't recommend putting yourself in an artistic echo chamber like that. Whether you like it or not, the bigger CWC subculture is going to be your main audience. If you only want positive feedback, then your audience is only gonna be about eight people.

And I think this place is too far down the CWC-rabbit hole for most people. I think you (Note: You as in plural, not specifically you) all have probably driven a lot of people out.

Even if you all did have a point, it's a bit too drowned out by your nasty demeanor for it to ever be communicated properly. I'm willing to listen to constructive criticism, I'm not going to listen to insults from people with no social skills. Because that's not going to improve my work at all.

And It's very telling that your only advice was to make it more like an established property, one that hundreds and thousands of people have praised before you.

And as for social skills, well you're comparing yourself favorably to Kiwi Farms. That would be like me comparing myself favorably to Jack the Ripper. Why would I listen to someone who does that?

Marketing any form of entertainment is finding your key demo. We're it. If this cartoon isn't meant for people deep in the Chris Chan subculture, then who is it meant for?

And before you ask "what does Naitch know about promoting entertainment?"

I've taken numerous local theatre companies in my area who were having trouble selling tickets and turned things around for them. And I was able to do it by showing them how to find their key demos then market to them. I know how to produce entertainment.
