Chris at MAGfest

My friend was there, they definitely put in some uncomfortable things lol. Shecameforcwc was in the power point LOL. But it's like idk Chris handles that stuff better. I mean it'll be like something we never expect to get an old fashion rage out of Chris but I think old troll stuff mostly just makes Chris say ummm or get a slightly aggravated tone and sigh lol.

This! I hope Chris is a full fledged c or d list celebrity. I'm an art nerd and sorta think Chris is something special in webcomics or even in comics, Chris is our generations Fletcher hanks. Chris with decent money, would be honestly fucking hilarious. Like if Chris ended up being able to own 14 branchland court. Ect

 

Way back in the Bronycon thread some of us joked about a CWC panel or con of some kind. The fact that it is now real makes we wonder whether this is good luck or bad luck.

I quite like seeing people meeting him and seeming genuinely happy about it.

Chris is lazy, a bit of an idiot, and probably isn't all that great a person deep down. But I strongly believe that everyone needs a win now and then.

Plus, anything's better than mopey shut-in Chris.

 

I like the hat and jacket. Chris’s sporty girl look works here, it’s better than tiny pony shirts and 90s hairbands.
I also like Chris’s genuine happiness at his fame. Forgiving Stakehouse is great too.

Chris is fat, lazy, creepy and gay. But seeing him enjoying himself and being sociable is an oddly heartwarming experience.

No offense to the newbs, but you guys seriously should spend some time at the Cwcki and get a solid understanding of Chris stuff. A lot of the over-analyzation, dissertations on the underlying meanings found in Sonichu and Illuminati-level conspiracy theories that people come up with whenever Chris farts are some of the cringiest shit I’ve ever read. (Not even going to get into how the decryption stuff some people got into made Chris look neurotypical ...)

There have been a lot of people lately asking questions that anyone who’s read the main Chris article or has spent time over at KF would/should know.

I’m legit trying to be as nice as I can about all this, but seriously - lurk moar.

 

Honestly, I think over-analysising Chris is just fun and I think others feel the same. Older members seem to hate it, and call us autistic or whatever (Null especially), but at the end of the day it's just fun to overanalysize Sonichu panels and the stuff he posts on Facebook. It's just like with any fandom from cartoons to anime to films to sports.

Who are you to tell us how we can have our fun and enjoy our time on sites like this in communities like this? Seriously, a number of us are here because we don't like the admins and users at KF and\or the stupid gatekeeper mentality. If we bring that shit here, we might as well leave the community, or go back to KF. We're already seeing it with the latest posts by admins and older users, as well as the recent admin edits and the Kong pics...

Spoiler: my 4-cents on the current discussion of overanalysis

Personally I think the overanalysis happens when there's not much content. Of course before MAGfest kicked off there was a content drought and most of the new stuff we saw were tweets and /cow/ posts by Hirtes, which isn't really substantial. And new content from Kengle or ADF is rare thesedays so it doesn't really count. Hopefully MAGfest gives Chris a jab of energy and we get new comic pages or word salads. Be patient, fellow autists.

Chris took a selfie with THE Adam Stackhouse (supposedly). Who would have thought? Now imagine if Megan returned. Then the CWC Renaissance that started last year would be complete.

 

Because it is. What is there to go so in-depth about? It’s Chris and we all know Chris is about as deep as a saucer.

And the people who overanalyzed those fandoms are the ones who end up looking too deep into them and making up shit that isn’t there. It’s less fun when something meant for entertainment (ie: a forum for discussing and laughing at a weirdo in Virginia) and not meant to be taken hyper seriously, gets deconstructed and run into the ground.

And there are a number of people here who weren’t welcome, were banned or were ridiculed off of KF.

This is a forum dedicated to discussion about some random dude meant for entertainment. It is not entertaining to read text walls from someone who thinks they’re better than Chris, all while they’re detailing every shred of his actions. As stated before, it makes Chris, who has confirmed autism, look neurotypical.

I didn’t want to mention it because I was respectful of your issues, but in regards to “gatekeeping” please bear in mind that one of the previous admin posts was specifically made in regards to your behavior on this forum and how the user base is not equipped to be someone’s therapist.

 

I think the overanalysis whether it's intentional or not is a good way to pass time between droughts. Like @Sexual Tyrannosaurus said, he is as deep as a saucer but I think what everyone says can be more entertaining that Chris himself or make for some amusing "what if" scenarios. So while the admins have a point about it being dumb to overanalyze someone who is dumb like Chris, the stuff we say shouldn't be taken at face value and can add a bit of "flavor" to someone as bland as Chris

 

I like how half of this is discussing Chris having a social life for a short bit and the other half about people over analyzing Chris.
