He is back up to 4 patrons and now at $28. Chris could probably make a nice little profit from Patreon, even if he was only releasing 1 new Sonichu page a month(because people love the comic for some reason) but I feel that Chris las lost all interest in the comic and would rather play with his amiibo.

 

How long until he ditches the Amiibos, Lego, Skylanders and Transformers for something equally childish?

 

I believe that once Chris does something he likes for money, it IMMEDIATELY becomes work and therefor stress. He was making good money for medallions, until some ASSHOLE HAD THE NERVE to expect product he paid for. Same for the amiibos. He was getting paid for pages of Sonichu until "I can't just snap my fingers and make more pages!" He couldn't even play video games, he abandoned that too.
I think it boils down to Chris can't do something unless he wants to do it, and the second someone else wants him to do it, nope.

 

They say to do something you like as a job. Chris never got the memo as usual and its his own fault that he cant sustain his "mostly controable impuslive shoppiness"

 

I think you're mostly right. Fatty most enjoyed doing things that made Cwcville seem more real to him. Since his little 'tardverse made more sense to him than does reality, it gave Chris fuzzy wuzzies to make representations of it in comics and Lego and what-have-you. It was only when the dang dirty trolls began interfering in his primary-colored imaginary hugbox that reinforcing it became more stressful than it was worth.

 

Then again, if the major trolls promised to not fuck with his 'tardverse (this excludes weens due to the impossibility of getting them to stop) in exchange for chris making more sonichu, that could work? But then again, chris sucks at negotiation as the cwcki points out. I have the idea out there just because I dunno if it is feasible or if anyone has ways to improve on my idea

To be fair, the shirt does have a fascinating origin story. You see, the shirt came from the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism...SPACE!!
