Eh not really. Personally I prefer that over introducing terrible new characters that fill roles better filled by old favorites we haven't seen in awhile.

Remember these bright, sunny days when we thought that the worst thing in store for Chris was a revival of A-Log?

 

Remember when Chris was an amusing mostly harmless buffoon? Remember when Chris was actually funny?

We all do. It was a long time ago.

 

That was the late '00s, when "Web 2.0" was just starting. I think "The Classic" days started when that freak was discovered, and ended when he "went tomgirl" before Bob passed on. Since then, the "Tale of Fail" has been just an endless parade of weens weening, ever declining mental health, and also ever increasing delusions.

 

From seeing A-Log on Twitter a few times, I can say the worst there would be of him is just making a post on Chris and that's it. Everything is just him liking fan art and giving his own take on something like everyone else on that platform. All that said, a revival of A-Log doesn't mean Anthony has to come back when that can just be someone else coming in and screeching about how Chris is worse than Saddam and nastier than Satan.

Don't forget the ancient days before you even had the ED page or even Something Awful taking a look. Chris being a nuisance in public with a love quest and having run-ins with the law at Target were all like some "primordial soup" that would eventually lead up to the "Classic days."
