I know from Guru Larry's videos that if you fail miserably at that trivia game you get an old man showing off his moobs at you. I'd bet chris saw his fair share of that ending.

 

Maybe he played the game to keep himself straight.

But yeah, had they gotten Peter Chung on this, it would've been badass. The accidental deaths during gameplay would've been just like the original shorts!

 

He probably only saw the hollywood movie which was a complete bomb. I don't think chris could handle the series. He would have ripped off the dialogue for sure in the comic to try and sound smarter... even though much of it was circular pretentious rambling.

 

And Sonichu would die in almost each issue.

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought! He's not one for mind games!

Which honestly isn't that bad at all given what video games technically do. I always thought that was the point behind Aeon Flux! Reality doesn't give you a second go!

BTW, I noticed someone did this! This was such a cleverly planned out short for what they did with it. This sort of timed camera shift like you're seeing security cameras set on AUTO or whatever.

 

basic sonic recolor with ears, about 3 or 4 frames of animation. The guy behind hasn't really done a lot of work unless he has a full sheet of custom sprites. Of course, chris doesn't know that.

Also, Chris forgot about the lightning bolt tail.

 

I was going to make a yellow arms joke, but I rather not give weens any ideas.

 

Actually, I think the arms are flesh tone. hard to see since its only one frame.

Because Sonic's is the same way, duh!

 

Sonic Mania was done by a group of people who genuinely love the property and wish for it to succeed. All of Sonichu's fans are doing it ironically.
